Hello.
You are rightly given ipt along with pyridoxine as per rntcp guidelines.
Pyridoxine (vit b6) is given to prevent one side effect of isoniazid. Ie peripheral neuropathy. It has no role in the development of drug resistance to inh. So please take pyridoxine regularly and you can take it at any time of the day if you have a problem to take with other meds. Thanks.

Hi, you have not mention how much defective is the pack cover and for how many duration. If this is in a short period of time sometimes may be due to pressure from outside and tablet is intact, it should work for 100%

The defective package does not mean the drug is ineffective and hence you need not repeat taking it.

Vomiting is a common side effects of anti tubercular drugs but to be on a safe side you should get liver function test done as these drugs are known to affect liver of the patient.
Also for symptomatic relief you can give emset tablet 1 hour before taking the tablet.

Dear,
There are two common tests
One molecular test in 1 or 2 days result
Another test of microbial culture and drug susceptibility that takes 4-12 weeks.
Both are available in State Govt TB centres free of cost.

Normal tuberculosis (i. E not drug resistant) can be treated along with presence of pregnancy. Not to worry if one has been given rifampicin, isoniazid, ethambutol and pyrazinamide for treatment of tb along with pregnancy. So no need for abortion but regular consultation with gynaecologist for monitoring fetal well being growth and development is needed.

Usually alternatives are ethambutol and levofloxacin and streptomycin sometimes only isoniazid without rifampicin is tolerated.
