If the sperm count is very high like in your case, then a low motility <60% does not matter. From that point of view, it is ok for you.

Yes you have normal count.
Sperm Count. 40 million to 300 million is the normal range for the number of sperm per milliliter. Counts below 10 million are considered poor; counts of 20 million or more may be fine if motility and morphology are normal.

As per who sperm count should be more than 15 million per ml and total motility 40% or more, what is motility %? meanwhile keep away from heat, chemical, smoking zones. Avoid laptop on lap. Wear loose undergarments and keep your testes cooled by pressing them with wet towel for 5-10 minutes daily. Eat vegetables and colored fruits.

Hi Lybrate user,
Any count above 20 million is just normal. Even motility is also. Ok.
Better if count still improves. Give him foods like - Spinach, Flax seed, oranges, almonds, broccoli cod liver oil etc for further improvement.

Dear lybrate user. I can understand. Normal sperm densities range from 15 million to greater than 200 million sperm per milliliter of semen. You are considered to have a low sperm count if you have fewer than 15 million sperm per milliliter or less than 39 million sperm total per ejaculate. in that sense you have enough sperm count to become father. Don't worry. Take care.

The production of sperm is a complex process and requires normal functioning of the testicles (testes) as well as the hypothalamus and pituitary glands ? organs in your brai...more
