Asked for male, 39 years old from Delhi

Hello sir/mam we r frm delhi, my wife is a diabetic patient & from last week she was suffering from fever & cough, after 3 days treatment i. E. azithromycin, pcm her fever controlled. Now fever has not come from 3 days bt cough is continue. After 3 days my Dr. Started another treatment accuclav 625 bd, vit. C+zinc tab od, multivit. Cap, od & cofdex cough syrup. After 3 days of this treatment she feel 50% relief in cough bt she is feeling chest pain from yesterday & due to this she is not able to take proper diet. Now what is the issue please guide. I am afraid to go to the hospitals as worst situation r there due to covid & I have a 5 years old baby who is also suffered from cough from 2 days. He also not feeling fever.

You may be covid positive as per the symptoms.
Chest pain needs further history to evaluate the cause. Most likely it maybe due to gastritis for which you may need medications.
If your pain doesn't go away after the medications. You may need an ecg, xray to find out the cause.

Dear Sir/madam I diagnosed with TB on 6 jun 2018. I had plural fluid in my right lung so my doctor removed it and started the treatment of TB with AKT 4. I fill very well after the treatment started but from 22 jun 2018 again I am not filling well and the cough is again started. Today I was go to my doctor and tell him my cough again started. He advised me to do cheat x ray and ESR test. Todays ESR result is 92 which is 80 on 16 jun 2018. In chest x-ray also some amount of plural fluid is increased. Hence he prescribed me to 1.Dextromethorphan HBR and amylmetacresol lozenges 2.Moxifloxacin Hcl 3.cetrizine dihcl 4. becosules 5.AKT 4 6.pyridoxine Hcl. I want ask you that can cough increase after the treatment started or it may be due another reason.

I have been suffering from coughing for 1 month. For first week I have taken moxikind 650 mg twice daily. Then, I have taken azithromycin 500 mg once daily with cough syrup codistar dx and cetrizine for 5 days. It made my cough more worsen. Then, I took medisedyl dx cough syrup. It made my cough more worsen and also I started vomit. Then, the sound of my cough changed with a high pitch sound. I always coughed mostly at night. Then, after 3 day I continued with moxikind twice daily for 3 days. Then, I took jufex forte syrup and fifatrol tablet and cetrizine for 3 days. Day by day, my cough was getting worse. Then, I took dextromethorphan hydrobromide syrup thrice a day for 2 days and cetrizine at night. Then my cough get worse and worse. And currently I was taking levolin plus syrup and cetrizine and cefpodoxime proxetil tablet. It did not provide me any relaxation. Whenever I cough, firstly I inhale deep breath with a very annoying and weird sound and then I start coughing with very dense saliva. I am 14 years old boy. I have no relief.

I am 69 years male and a chronic patient of bronchitis and sinusitis. In sept. 2016 I had a severe problem but got controlled with tablet zeet expectorant, azeflo nasal spray and tablet leon anti bacterial and also foracort inhaler which I am using regularly Currently I am having deep chesty cough. I have to cough hard to throw mucous out which puts lot of stress on my chest and I get tired very soon Currently my sinuses are clear and can easily breathe through nose except throwing mucous out of my lungs which exerts pressure on the whole body. I am taking all above medicines for last 5 days except leon. Shall I continue the same for another 5 days. I feel 35 Percent relief. Is antibacterial medicine reqd. Now Please advise.

I am suffering from cough and cold since 2 weeks this time. Nose block at night, heaviness in chest in the morning. Yellowish mucus. Taken Anti expectorant. But only slight improvement. I am prone to cough and cold. When I feel like old cough is going, I catch new cough infection with runny nose and goes into same process of stages of cough and cold. Though I am fit and stay away from cold beverages, cover well in winter but I think my immunity give up on cough. And I stay in state of cough and cold for 8 months in an year.

Fever with headache for 1 day 10 days back followed by giddiness and fainting. Since 7 days palpitation and breathlessness. Tested for covid 19. antigen test.test was negative. Hrct chest done score is 12. Favipiravir started 5 days before. Spo2 97- 98% since 10 days ,vitals stable. Medicine given are as follows. Tab doxy 1 bd x 5 days tab vitc+d3+zinc 1bd tab montelukast levocetirizine 1od tab predmet 16 mg od x 5 days then next tab predmet 8 mg od x 5 days then next tab predmet 4 mg od x 5 days tab favipiravir 1800 mg bd first day followed by tab favipiravir 800 mg bd x 14 days. Betadine gargles tds daily syp. Macberry (dextromethorphan hydrobromide) 5 ml tds tab ultavit (multivitamin). 1 od cap pantop-d 1 od tab cefuroxime axetil 500 1 bd x 5 days. Patient is not consuming diet well. What we can do further. Any changes in medicine? Any thing we can add? Patient has breathlessness after coming from wash room and it last for 10-15 min.

diet is most important in covid as it weakens our immune system. If your patient is not diabetic then she should take sufficient ors to keep herself hydrated. What is the oxygen saturation of patient when she is breathless?
As of now no changes in medicine is required.
Advice patient to do breathing exercise using incetive spirometer to increase the functioning of lungs.

Is coffy cough syrup safe in pregnancy? My doctor prescribed it for cold and cough. But google says its not safe.

Alternate is syears ambroxol + bromhexine + terbutaline 5 ml tds.
It will not make to dry
