Dear lybrate-user
Lower back pain is because of so many reasons Starting from simple postural problem to compression at nerve roots In your case, yes it could be due to disc prolapse But Every case needs a detailed understanding through sets of questions and evaluation through specific tests like X-rays, MRIs and others
However rest/ hot fomentation and few days of muscle relaxants usually works well The good news is - its always treatable if timely addressed Good luck.

Hye. Thankyou for your query.
Usually the loss initially is mostly due to a lot of muscle loss, when you try to lose weight with medicines. As such age is a mild factor but with the medicines and the loss of weight coupled with muscle loss, the body drops the metabolism. Also muscle loss causes reduced fat burn. As we age also if you are inactive there is reduced metabolism. Sadly, these short cut supposed easy ways to lose weight are not long lasting.

Hi lybrate-user orlistat inhibits fat absorption n thus helps in losing weight by reducing calories from fat but it can't work alone, you need to exercise and eat healthy along with it to see better effects. It also has side effects like malabsorbtion of fat soluble of vitamins. Please weigh the consequences over benefits before going for medication instead lose weight in healthy way by diet n exercise.

SInce blood glucose shows you have diabetes, there is a need to start the treatment with appropriate drugs, plus diet restriction and regular exercise.
