Hello, I am 25 years old. I always had clear baby soft skin and for the last 7-8 months, I have been facing the problem of comedones and cystic acne only on the sides of my cheeks and nowhere else. The dermatologists I visited gave different names to it calling it acne vulgaris, hormonal acne. I have used all the kinds of gels, ahas bhas, got microdermabrasion and extraction which aggravated my case. Then I started with oral antibiotics doxycycline which caused a havoc on my skin after I stopped taking the medication as it resulted with 2-3 nodular acne twice a week. Currently my doc has asked me to take minolox 50 mg for less than a week and zymogesic as he claims this will heal my problem once and for all. So can zymogesic completely or partially eliminate the side effects of minolox? I don't want to end up purging or getting an allergic reaction with this meds or after this meds. Personally, I do a lot of things to heal it from inside like green juices, water, fruits, multivitamins, powders, omega, warm compresses on the face with apple cider vinegar and lemon which has worked miraculously û

Acne is a skin condition that occurs when your hair follicles become plugged with oil and dead skin cells. It causes whiteheads, blackheads or pimples. These factors can trigger or aggravate acne: hormones, certain medications, diet, stress.
To prevent pimples, eat fresh fruits, green vegetables, drinking plenty of water should be an essential part of your routine and intake of oily fried foods, an excess of sugar-salt should be avoided.
Don't peal pimples, as they tend to leave scars.more
