Hello,
Clonate lotion is used for skin conditions like Psoriasis , dandruff, redness and itching.Clonate Lotion is composed of Clobetasol(0.05%). It is used for corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses. Its dosages and repetition depends upon your age severity of your problem.
So this will be in safer side if you consult the same doctor who has prescribed clonate lotion to use.
Take care and thanks.

Thanks for your query.
Clonate ointment contains clobetasol, which is the most potent steroid. It is strongly not advisable to use steroid without the prescription of a dermatologist. Use of steroid is associated with several side effects such as thinning, dryness, redness, white spots, dark spots, development of hair, pimples, etc to name a few.
Please consult a dermatologist, either walk-in or online to get your condition assessed.
Wishing you great health.

Lobate gm or clonate: both contain superpotent topical steroid - clobetasol propionate 0.05 percent, unsupervised application of which will lead to atrophy (skin thinning) which is a permanent side effect. Alopecia areata is a relapsing, remitting disease. For proper treatment, and prevention of relapses some oral medications can be started. I would advise you to consult a qualified dermatologist in person who can guide you best treatment after proper evaluation.
