It is unlikely due to nexito or clonazepam, but anxiety itself causes frequent urination which nexito does not control, there are better alternatives which act on anxiety as well as control the excessive urination. Consult an astute psychiatrist online or in person for the same. Good luck.

Dear Brinda,
It is a good decision to taper off clonazepam. If you have started taking it for relief from anxiety, please practice few relaxation techniques. In that way, you can keep your anxiety to an optimum level to function properly.

Dear Amit,
Clonazepam is prescribed only if necessary. Try to avoid the combination. But if the anxiety is affecting the quality of life, please take both. There is no interaction between the two.

Lybrate-user,
Clonazepam is a benzodiazepine and is prescribed for anxiety but usually dependence occurs if taken for more than 4 weeks. Now you have to get expert help in tapering the Clonazepam and this is done very gradually by 5 % every week and can last several months. You could experience headache, sleeplessness, anxiety and mood changes commonly and sometimes antidepressants are prescribed to help these difficulties. You could also get psychological support during tapering this medica...more

Since You are a heart patient, it is advisable for you to take medications that have least effect on the heart. Paroxetine is a SSRI, which is considered to very safe for heart patients. On the other hand Zapiz is Clonazepam which is a benzodiazepine which should be used on a short term basis. They should not be taken for more than 4 weeks as they may cause dependence. In my opinion, if you responding well to Paroxetine kindly continue it. In case of Zapiz, try to stop taking it after 3-4 weeks ...more

Hello lybrate-user. I do not find any problem in that but would have been better had you discussed this issue with your trwating physician. What you can do is first stop thinking about it. Go to bed relaxed and only when you feel sleepy. Do not 'try' to sleep but let sleep come to you.in case you have problem you can take clonazepam on as-and-when required basis. Best luck thanks.
