I am 49 years old .on 4th jan I was attacked by herpes zoster. I was cured by 26th jan. Within that period I was suffering from epigastric pain. Doctor prescribed me skf o syrup. After taking tow doses of the medicine I am facing some inward pulling tendency in my epigastric region and also bit sense less sensation in the epigastric region and in chest region also. Kindly suggest me.

I am44 years unemployed and under depression. Living in the same surrounding and doing same work makes me disinterested and depression has set in. Less appetite and sleep problem. Im having clonazepam but when ever I wake up sometime feel anxiety tremor though very mild. I hav just started zoster 50 in morning. I exercise regularly but losing interest in it. I got bitten by a mosquito and since then I have got infection on my leg since a month. A physician near me told its a herpes zoster but due to steroid medication the infection came back then I visited mgm hospital derma. Dept. They told me its tinea fungal infection. Currently I am on eberconazole and amorolfine cream but the amorolfine cream is giving me side effects and I am having more itching. And the infection seems to be growing. I want to know how long does it takes to treat this kind of infection?

Aciclovir to be taken only if symptomatic otherwise it is not to be taken and I will suggest you to eat nutritious home made food with adequate fluid intake and take physical rest when you are symptomatic and for preventing it I will suggest you to get your self vaccinated.

My wife is suffering from Bells Palsy since 2 months. 36 Acyclovir 800 mg tablets were given initially within a span of 8 days. neurobion forte was also prescribed twice per day. She took facial massage and electric currents from a physiotherapist for around 45 days. Facial exercises are being done at home. The recovery seems to be there but is very very slow. The smile and lifting of eyebrows have not yet shown any improvement. In fact since 5 days things seem to have taken a back step. The eye which had started closing 90% properly is again showing a slit like the initial days. The speech too has taken a back step. Is the fluctuation in improvement from good to bad normal. Do we need to worry? How long will she take to recover?

Hi, My wife is having bells palsy since 5 months. She was given acyclovir 800 (36 tablets in 9 days). Predmet 8 mg was given after 2 months which did not help. She is taking gla m regularly now. There is slight or improvement in her face. The eye closing has improved but still doesn't fully close. The smile still droops. Eyebrows do not go up. Neurologist says continue with physiotherapy and electric stimulation. Physician says it doesn't help after 4 months. She does facial exercises and massage at home. What shud she do? Should she stop physio and electric stimulation? How long will it take for her to fully recover from this trauma?

I had oral sex with my partner and at that time be had cold sore. After few days I got him checked for hsv and hsv 1 lgg come 51 and hsv 1 lgm came 4.58 I had tested myself for hsv which came out negative. But I had painful boils on my genitals and anal area for which I took acyclovir 400 mg tablet for 7 days. Dwai ke bad aram mila boils main pr 9 day fr se anal area m boils huge. You have infection with HSV and it need to be treated and will get cured but the antibodies Igm will show up as evidence of infection You can have normal sex without fear of transmitting.
