NO it is mostly from the infection and local application will relieve only for time being. The permanent solution is in homoeopathy and you should consult for that. And start an internal medicine.
I am suggesting you a medicine but over the counter prescriptions are not always successful in homoeopathy. But still you may try Hepar Sulph 200 1 dose every day. For 3 days. Report after 1 week.

Hello Lybrate user, most of the time a white patch on your skin could be just dryness related, sun damage or a fungal infection. Make sure to moisturise well, sun protection with a cap or helmet and if a fungal infection was suspected I would go in for a plain clotrimazole cream rather than the combination. Hope I answered your question. T.c.

In fact skin infection happens due to dryness of skin along with internal heat in body.
You need to keep your skin well moisturised with natural materials.
Do apply fresh milk cream on skin. Take just 2 to 3 drops of fresh milk cream and apply it on the entire infected area every morning and evening. Also, take a small slice of cucumber, put a few drops of fresh lemon juice on it and rub it on the entire affected area with it before you wash the skin. Use glycerin soap or glycerin honey ...more
