Earlier I was taking rozat 5, now Dr. had prescribed aztor 5, beside this, I take regularly, met xl-50& clopitab-75. My question is that, is aztor 5 will be more useful than rozat 5 for me.

aztor milder than rozat, rozat double strong. rozat/Astor are useful after heart attack, they are not needed before heart trouble starts

The erection difficulty is due to side effect of beta blocker and calcium channel blocker. Here these medications are important to take, and alongwith your condition of mvp can cause extra load on your heart during sex. Better ask a physician personally, and get yourself examined, he may be able to guide you bettee.

Ecosprin av and clopidogrel are required after a heart attack. Avoid these medicines unless you have received a coronary stent.
Flecainide is quite toxic for people who require blockage medicines. Amiodarone is usually very effective. Amiodarone treatment requires medical supervision.

Hi lybrate-user, as you say she was having st elevation and started on atorva and clopidogrel and afternoon 2 months st normal.
I would like to know the presentation at time of first ecg 2 months ago.
Would be better if you send me her both ecg / echo if done
also would like to know her risk factor before I advice you further management.

My father underwent angiography and ballooning in the year 2015. He has been taking Deplatt 75 along with other medicines since then. Today the resident doctor seeing him has advised to stop Deplatt 75. Is this OK or should I consult the senior doctor. He has no chest pain these days and he is regular on walk and exercise. His lipid profile and kidney function tests are normal. Only PP sugar is on higher side.

It is definitely ok, Deplatt is not needed any more, plus only Tablet Ecosprin is enough. Other drugs should also be reduced depending on his 2D Echo and blood pressure. Send me the reports, so we can further manage the drugs.
