Dear doctor my father is 69 years old and a parkinson patient with a heart pace maker and hypertension. Is there any side effects of increased dosage of syndopa and missed dosage of clopilet for 4 days. Kindly advice. Any BP changes can occur with missed clopilet dose?

Dear Patient, Increased dosage of Syndopa can increase the blood pressure. Clopilet is for blood thining, so it has nothing to do with BP changes. Since he has been prescribed the same they must be suspecting some atherosclerotic plaque in the carotids supplying brain or heart vessels, resume Clopilet and do not worry.

My mother is 50 years old. Ans she had gone through angioplasty 2 years ago. Suddenly bleeding from nose started and her b. P estimated to be 230. Now doctor has stopped clopilet a 150 to stop the bleeding effect. Please let me know that due to stoppage of clopilet a150 any problem will cause in stenosis.

My dad, 70,had CABG in 2013, he was on Deplatt A 75 initially and then Deplatt 75 since Nov 2017. His platelet counts are around 45000 and hence doc had prescribed Ecosprin 75 in May 2018. However platelet is still around 44000? All other parameters like WBC, RBC, haemoglobin are within parameters. Is it proper to have Ecosprin 75 on alternate days?

First you have to meet a Hematologist to find out the cause of low platelet count. Both Deplatt and Aspirin are antiplatelets .He needs further blood work up to ascertain the cause and accordingly he can b given antiplatelets. Alternate day aspirin will not be the answer.

Usually bleeding stops. But take care that the blood clots inside canal should be cleaned. You can clean ear canal with ear bud dipped in betadine liquid.

I suffered a brain stroke in the year 2015. It was hemiparesis. I regained strength in my right hand and. Also right leg. But however I am unsteady in my walking. I am on clopilet 75 atorva75 cilacar 5 mg prazopress xl 5 and cardivas CR 20. Suddenly a week ago when I cough and spit flem comes with blood. I was put on antibiotics it has not stopped. The doctors advised me to stop clopilet for 7 days. Is it okay to stop clopilet for 7 days. Earlier I had stopped for 5 days only for surgery and tooth extraction. I have no pain or fever or irritation while I cough or spit flem .kindly give an opinion on stoppage of clopilet and also the possible ailment. Hi.

I am 60 years old male. I am taking regularly bp tablet telmikind h 40 mg. recently doctor advised to take clopitab a 75 mg as my reports showing triglycerides greater than 300. And bad cholesterol 62, good cholesterol 22. I used to take tadact 10 mg for ed problem whenever I want sex. My doubt is may I use tadact 10 while taking clopitab or should I stop clopitab for that day.
