Dear Khan,
There are different disorders presenting with similar complaints. You may be suffering from Generalised Anxiety Disorder and your doctor would have diagnosed it. So, she/he treating with petril beta. Your friend would have thought that you are suffering from Mixed Anxiety Depressive Disorder and would have advised fludac in addition.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
Beta blockers are used quite often to control hypertension and related cardiac problems in patients with diabetes also. They are fairly safe. Some times hypoglycemic episodes may not be easily recognised. Thanks.

But like always, observe yourself carefully after vaccination and report to the vaccination center or the nearest hospital if any side-effects develop.
