Kindly take the medicine only if a doctor has prescribed it. The point is that the medicine you take for depression only works on calming the symptoms. We call them nuerosuppresents. What they do is they basically calm you down until another dose is required. They never help you solve the underlying problem. The thing is that only therapy can do that. You might be having chronic anxiety requiring long term medications, rather than taking reduced medications and suffering from anxiety, take optimal or correct dose and the medicine which suits you the best, in consultation with your psychiatrist and live comfortably. It is a good medicine, does not come under addiction category. You can take it under a psychiatrist advise and follow up to be on the same. If anxiety is well controlled trial titration and stoppage can be adopted by the psychiatrist in discussion with you. All the best.

Also, walking is very helpful, particularly in nature. You can listen to music, or exercise. Get out of the house, talk to a friend, pet a dog or cat. Dancing, singing, chanting and even drumming.
