Need psychiatrist help. My wife aged 40 years is under constant psychiatrist treatment since 1999. She was initially treated with syp risperidone, then by ziprasidone. After about four to five years the disease relapsed and then managed with inj fluanxol depot + qutipin. Then again in 2012 the disease got aggravated and after about one year of suffering she was finally treated with tab asenapine 10 mg and tab nexito 10 mg and tab clo 0.5 mg. The medicine is continue since then and my wife is almost asymptomatic. I am now not available with my wife due to my defence background and my wife is at a totally new place gandhinagar. The treating doctor is at patna. The problem now I am facing is that tab asenapine sold by only company sun pharma is not available in the market. The treating doctor does not attend telephonic queries and my wife is not in a state to visit the psychiatrist for next four to five months. Is the medicine available in india with any other brand or can any one suggest any other substitute for the same.
