It has to be given under anesthesia, may be 6-12 times. Only few psychiatrists will have ect facility. Ketamine and rtms - very very few psychiatrist will have it. What lesion does she have on throat? salivation may increase due to certain nerve stimulation in certain patients. Is she taking any medication for any other known disease like bp etc? medications could alter the flow of saliva in mouth.

Medications could cause excess flow of saliva. It' s possible that medications you're taking could stimulate salivary glands. If this is not too much of a problem, ignore it or else ask your doctor for change of medication.
