No. I advise you to stop allopathic treatment as it gives temporary results only with lots of side effects, it will recur once you stop medicines and homeopathic treatment cures it from roots without side effects. No chance of recurrence. You can consult me online for homoeopathic treatment without side effects.

Hi lybrate-user,
it would be better if you use any plain talcum powder than a medicated one. Most patients with friction problem won't have any fungal issues so a medicated powder is not advised as if you later, god forbid, need any antifungal treatment, then they won't work.
Best wishes.

Yes lybrate-user. It has to be inserted at bed time and leave it. Sometimes you may find it coming out while passing urine so insert it after passing urine at bed time.

Hi lybrate-user yes you can use it. Let me know if your married or unmarried so the treatment varies.
Main thing to prevent infection is to maintain hygiene.- use washed and cotton panties, cotton pads during your periods. -avoid using wheat creams or razors for panic hair removal as few ppl are sensitive to them and cause irritation and itching will start. So see which one suits you and then use it. If your using any of them please stop.
- avoid going to public washrooms or else clean t...more

Dear lybrate-user
response to medical treatment depends on many things. Assuming that you don't have any co-morbidities and are taking proper preventive measures to control fungal infection, clotrimazole cream may take upto 2-3 weeks to clear fungus when applied twice daily.
Oral antifungal treatment may be required.
