Hi lybrate-user,
it would be better if you use any plain talcum powder than a medicated one. Most patients with friction problem won't have any fungal issues so a medicated powder is not advised as if you later, god forbid, need any antifungal treatment, then they won't work.
Best wishes.

The fungicidal allylamines (naftifine and terbinafine) and butenafine (allylamine derivative) are a more costly group of topical tinea treatments, yet they are more convenient as they allow for a shorter duration of treatment compared with fungistatic azoles (clotrimazole, econazole, ketoconazole, oxiconazole. Do not apply such cream. As it gives temporary results only with lots of side effects, it will recur once you stop medicines and homeopathic treatment cures it from roots without side effects. No chance of recurrence. You can consult me online for homoeopathic treatment without side effects.

Hello Anubhav,
The red itchy patches that yo are referring to can be due to some allergy and some more information will be required about it to evaluate the reason. If it is only allergy related, it can be reduced and can even stop.
