Hi I am taking pantoprazole clarithromycin and amoxicillin as I ve mild chronic h. Pylori as per my endoscopy now I am facing pain at lower abdomen upper side of urinary bladder and at anus and also at front I ve gas issue as I pass I feel relax but otherwise I ve pain its 3rd day now please guide what should I do I am taking itopride also when I take it it reliefs pain to some extent.

Try to complete the course of anti h pylori treatment. These antibiotics can have side effects as they are used in higher doses against h pylori.

Can ofloxacin 100 mg be given to 3 years old kid. On top of its cover (cipla company) it is written "it may cause low sugar and mental health related side effects" is it true? My kid have been diagnosed with bilateral pneumonitis. She had iv antibiotic advent 450 and clarithromycin oral syrup for 10 days. Doctor again prescribed ofloxacin 100 twice daily for 7 days. Is that drug safe since on its cover it states it has side effects.

For short term use ofloxacin is fine. It is one of the medicine to treat pneumonitis.
Do not look at the label and get panic
just follow your doctors advice

My son is 3 years old and he is suffering from cough and vomiting from last 15 days and consult with 3 no of doctors. They all said it is allergy in through and seasonal illness and chest is all clear. From day before yesterday cough was not stopped for a minute and he vomit only cough. He didn't eat any thing only think if I will eat it will get vomit now. Whole night he slept only 3-4 hours only. He took kofarest, protussa, chericof, levolin, calpol, Bro-zedex, clarinova, L montus and toff md. I don't understand what I do. He is not seems to well.

dear librates,it can be true in change of season .just give cough syrup as symptomatic drugs for some more time.

Hello concern doctor's, 3 months ago I started having breathing shortness which let me taken diagnosis so far like digital xray on chest, haematology test, spirometry test, ecg and all reports came out normal but chest specialist doctor gave me medicines like doxolin, superia, clarinova, asthakind, abflo sr, telekast tablet. It somehow relieved the seriousness but did not cured me completely. After probably 2 months from my first check up, I feel tightness on my throat and lungs together and went to ENT doctor and given me esokem 40 mg tablet and its been 3 days already I took the medicines but do not find much difference. I usually experienced more tightness on my throat and chest right after having food which gives me difficulty to breath so, can anyone help me out which doctor do I need to go to and what diagnosis can help ruled out the actual problems?

I am 36 years old having sinusitis from 7-8 years, suffering from cough, cold and now fever from 2 weeks was on histafree-M medicine early, my doctor told it's bronchitis ans advised to take Ambryl cough syrup, clarinova 250, Malidens 500 ,months LC and deryfil retard 150 (which I avoided fear of side effects death) taking all other medication and also was told my CRP is high, ketone in urine and high wbc and low platelets upon investigation. Looking for second opinion as no improvement in my health.

CT PNS to confirm sinusitis. Desensitize against mite which should improve your symtoms. PFT to r/o asthma. As you are diabetic and ketone in urine, need control of diabetes. Low platelet r/o dengue. Derphylline retard will not cause death as side effect

Zoha is having tonsils since 4.5. Days with intermittent high fever. On side of tonsils is swollen with with many white spots on and around it. Took augmentin 625 and enzoflam for 2 days just fever goes away for 4.5. Hours but tonsils remain same. Similarly with clarinova and gudcef cv 200 after 2 days fevers goes for 4.5. Hours. But tonsils pain is increasing.in above both cases fever goes only for 4 to 5 hours when she take medicines else due to severe pain tonsils comes again. She doesn't have cold, cough,flu, body pain, only fever and severe tonsils streps.

Dear lybrate-user, your daughter has septic tonsillitis for which oral antibiotics will not at all be the treatment of choice. She needs a thorough assessment of her tonsils by a competent ent specialist. You may consult me or any other ent specialist at the earliest as waiting may lead to secondary complications.

Hi sir, I do not have fever & cough I have an acidity problem but I don't have burning sensation in my throat which I was feeling earlier. The pain is on the left side of the throat and I have irritation & itching also. The pain is getting worse at night. I feel like mucus. I have stopped the earlier medicine's. I have started new medicine's. Tab clarinova 250 tab sumo cold tab rantac 150 please suggest me some medicine I am very much worried. I have lost my mother before 4 months due to esophagus cancer. Acid reflux is the cause for the throat pain.
Allergy is the cause for the irritation and itching in the throat.
There is no need to take antibiotics for the throat pain.It will not help.
Do you have fever?
PPI tablet for the acid reflux & an antiallergic tablet for the itching and irritation of the throat should help.
Do you smoke?
How are your meal timings ? Do you skip any of the meals?
