Asked for female, 32 years old from Delhi

Age 38 years trying to conceive for last six months bt not successful. My gynae earlier gave clofert tablets for five days. This month she has given stimufol tablets and advised for HSG test. AMH is 6.89. Kindly help me I right direction. I do not want to go for any complicated tests like HSG right now.

Hi,
When a woman is suffering from PCOD, ovulation does not occur and hence is not able to conceive. The above said medicines, when taken, stimulates the ovaries and helps in ovulation. So, chances of conception is higher, but incidences of twins or triplets is more.

The chance of getting pregnancy per cycle with regular unprotected intercourse is 20%.
At the end of 1 year, it is 80%.i hope its clear that the chance is only 20% and it is further reduced in pcos.

Yes, tablets like clomiphene citrate used for inducing ovulation do cause hormonal. Changes and discomfort in breast. However these are transient and subside suggest you to complete pcod and infertility treatment.

That is decided by many factors like serial sonography reports, earlier cycles similar reports if done, whether any treatment given or not, endometrial thickness etc. So ask person examining you.
