Hi lybrate-user,
it would be better if you use any plain talcum powder than a medicated one. Most patients with friction problem won't have any fungal issues so a medicated powder is not advised as if you later, god forbid, need any antifungal treatment, then they won't work.

You may be suffering from tinea cruris which is fungal infection of the inner thighs, groin and buttocks area. It is also called jock itch. It can be treated by taking four to six weeks of anti fungal treatment which includes tablets along with creams. Do not use soap over that area. Please do not use the steroid ointment. It will make your problem worse. You need lifestyle modification by taking lots of fluid and change your diet to prevent constipation. Also check your thyroid level which maybe cause for constipation. Try to take laxatives if you feel stool is hard, and try lignocaine and diltiazem ointment. Consult for further queries. Thank you.

1.It could be a fungal infection and may be due to uncontrolled Diabetes.
2.Do your fasting, PP blood sugar and consult Diabetologist for medicine if the Blood sugar is High
3. Go for regular exercise, reduce your weight to desired level and control your diet

If the mark is painful you could be having a boil and it needs antibiotic cream. If it is a fungal patch antifungal will help.
