Hi Sir, I am suffering from psychosis tobacco addiction hypertension irregular tachycardia and chest pain and severe headache my age is 20 Medication 1.olanzapine 5 mg 1 night (permanent) 2.bupropion 150 xl 1 morning (not permanent) 3.clobazam 5 mg 2 morning and night (not permanent) 4.propranolol 40 mg 1 morning (permanent) 5.telmisartan 20 mg 1 morning (permanent) And due to severe headache today only I take aspirin 75 mg morning not advised by doctor And what can I do for my headache and still I have moderate chest pain Cardiologist advise me to take echo and thyroid still not yet done sir please reply me for my headache and overall health.

Dear user. I can understand. You are HEALTH ANXIOUS, it seems. Hypochondriasis is an Obsession with the idea of having a serious but undiagnosed medical condition. Health anxiety is not a serious mental disorder but without proper treatment the person affected could be depressed and continuously engaged in negative thoughts. I am 32 years old male due to certain job related issues I had severe anxiety and depression about 1 month back. I also lost my appetite and wasn't not able to sleep properly. I consulted a psychiatrist and was prescribed to take clobazam 5 mg twice daily and Ecilitalopram 20 mg once daily before bedtime. I am feeling much better now but my appetite and sleeping issue still seems to persists without any improvements. I also have a history of anxiety and stress related issues before. My current psychiatrist just gave some sleeping pills and vitamins to improve my appetite for my problem which doesn't seem to work at all. Can anyone please help me out my lost of appetite and sleeping problem is wreaking a havoc in my daily life and has now now become a sore of my anxiety and depression relapsing.

Dear Kamster,
Please continue Clobazam and Escitalopram for few more weeks along with vitamins. It takes few weeks to improve your appetite and sleep. Sometime the doctor may increase the dose of escitalopram or shift to another sedating antidepressant.

Hello, I am 19 years old male from India undergoing severe stress and depression. Reasons:- I was supposed to enter engineering for Bachelor's degree back in 2017 but couldn't. Now, most likely* I will enter in 2019. So, I'd be having a 2 year gap. This is the cause of my depression. I even tried to end my life. Anxiety, headaches, depression have followed me since. My doctor has prescribed me Clobazam, Serta and Opiprol tablets (long way trial and error - Etizolam, Alprazolam, Clonazepam, Venlafaxine have all failed).

I am taking aripiprazole, fluvoxamine maleate extended and clobazam for ocd for the past 2 days at night prescribed by doctor. After taking it the first day night, from next day morning I started feeling sleepy, tired and also have diarrhoea two times a day and chills. Is this sleepiness and tiredness because of the tablets? And also I slept late at night at 12: 00 on that day when I took the tablets. So does the tablets cause sleepiness and tiredness because I slept late? And it's been 3 days and I am feeling the same sleepiness and tiredness. What should I do?

Hello, clobazam is never taken for a long period. Sleepiness is due to clobazam mostly. Try tapering off clobazam. For initial 7 days take half the dose then for next 7 days one fourth of the dose then stop clobazam.

Hi, I am 34 years old male. I have been suffering from epilepsy since age 12 and have been on regular medication since then. Though now I don't get seizures since many years but I am continuing regular medicines such as Cloba, Levilex 250 & 500, mazetol as prescribed by my doctor. As my life is completely stressed out and I go to sleep late night on regular basis and I am completely pressurised with work load so I am facing problem in my sex life since last few months. Though I feel it's anxiety disorder because I have been facing this issue since last six seven months and I had sex not that frequently and I feel some erection problem too. I have recently ordered Shilajit Gold. So I wish to know is it safe to consume this medicine as I am already taking medicines for epilepsy and also I wish to know whether these medicines are causing any side effects or not. If it is safe then please guide me the proper way to consume the same.

Im searching a best seizure medicine which has very low side effect and which do not effect to liver, kidney heart and others organs, my neuro doctor has offered me to choose one medicine from "phenytoin, carbamazepine, oxcarbazepine, eslicarbazepine, sodium valporate, topiramate, levetiracetam, lamotrigine, diavalporex, phenobarbitone, currently i'm taking clobazam 12.5 mg and lacosamide 200 mg per day but nothing improvement. I feels suddenly extreme difficulty till 30 to 50 second, I always remain conscious at that time and can talk with anyone but that difficulty what I feels which is unable to express in words. My mri report show: ring shaped cortical/ subcortical lesion with eccentric dot and blooming on swi and calcification on phage image in the left hippocampal formation with minimal peripheral gliosis/edema. Findings represent calcified granuloma most likely related to neurocysticercosis. Other diagnostic consideration is tuberculosis. 2. Mild increased signal and volume loss of the left hippocampus as compared to right. Finding are suggestive of left mesial temporal sclerosis. Clinical correlation is suggested" while I do eeg test when normal condition always show normal eeg but when 30-50 second extreme difficulty happen during eeg show abnormal ieds: left anterior temporal and there are few sharp wave discharge starting from left anterior temporal region. Now according some above report which medicine is the best for me please suggest. I want to change medicine lacosamide and clobazam. Thank you.

I am young of 31 years my problem started when I was 20 at first time I have problems of shortness of breathing on night then I have visit doctor then they tested cardiology and blood tests ut no any problems found then they started psychology medicine I forgot the medicine I think amitone lobazam for 3 years I was ok after than I have started the problem of fast heart beat and panic attacks problem sometimes blood pressure high also. They changed and started medicine prolomet xl 25 flunil 30 per day letter 5 (tg) I was ok for long time but one month ago panic attacks started at night then I visited doctor they have tested cardiology and ecg report found good. Then they continued same medicine and gave me sos tab of 0.25 mg clonazepam. Nowadays here is lock down due to covid 19 so I can't visit doctor. But I am not feeling well sometimes at night I have faced panic attacks at night so plze consult me.

Hi, From Dehradun (uttarakhand) India. I used to be a chronic alcoholic person. As result, 2 nos. Blood clots found in my brain thru mri. In my right hand side of my brain, which were removed by doctors thru surgery and advised liver treating medicines. After 10 days consumption of the said medicine, I continued to be alcoholic as earlier and assumed that after the brain surgery, I am normal now. However, I started getting sequence of seizures only after one month of surgery. I spent about 5 days in the hospital release with new set of medicine "levetiracetam 1g" and "clobazam 1g" and "epsolin - phenytoin sodium tab ip" for 2 months. Now I absolutely stopped consuming alcohol. But since last few weeks, my feet are swelling to its normal size and causes pain too, since I continue to wore socks 24 hrs due to cold winters. And wear shoes at work too. Swelling and itching in my feet are now become a problem for me know.

Kindly continue medicines which your doctor has suggested for seizures.
Since you already had clot in brain , there is a possibility that you may be having clots in your leg that may be affecting the blood circulation in legs . Doppler examination of both feets can help . Also if your foot wear is tight than chnage it
Avoid prolonged standing on feets.
Leg elevation can also help to decrease medicines.
Decrease your salt intake in diet

Hi sry for my bad english please help with this child age now 4 years 2 months, fullterm healthy baby, normal delivery baby. On april 2021 age: 2y 8m he got first seizure. Seizure is like unconscious no jerking found little blue or pink colour around lips and got admitted for 2 days eeg and mri got normal and suggested no medication and he got another seizure on may 2021. Seizure is like jerking movements bubbled saliva came from mouth lasted around 1 min 40 seconds and doctor prescribed with keppra 1.5 ml he is for almost 1 1/2 year seizure free until october 2022 on 8th october 2022 he got partial seizure like twichiness for around 8 seconds. Before 5 days from this episode he got severe cold cough and fever and used antibiotics to control. On this seizure episode day he danced a lot in marriage. On date 9oct he got again doctor added balloting 1.5 ml again 10, 11, 12 october he got partial seizures lasted around 5 to 10 seconds with jerky movements very day we are in notice of doctor he gradually increased the dosage of valparin to 3.5 ml on 13 october he got 2 min seizure eye balls up with jerky movements and bubble saliva from mouth. In eeg mentioned left centro parietal epileptic focus doctor added clobium 1.5 ml for 5 days he is fine and after again he started getting seizure lasting 5 to 10 sec around daily 2 to 4 times with jerky movements and he immediately recovers after 10 ses he continues with what he is doing. Doctor kept on increasing dosages slightly on 25 oct he got 6 times seizure in a row each lasting 3 to 10 sec seizures in that only one had jerky movements other are like staring to the sky. Doctor now added oxital 2.5 ml but he got two seizures daily but doctor said it take time work for medicine so be in patience. From 6 days he is getting seizure only in sleep at after noon just after sleep and early morning before wake up. Doctor suggested to decrease valparin dosage and after gradually remove valparin. We are in confusion what to do still he is getting single seizure in sleep afternoon and morning. Doctors are saying he is fine questions 1. Does it cause any brain damage will he get any cognitol deficit with these frequent seizures until now he is ok? 2. How long he will get these seizures? 3. Next action plan? 4. Some says it is benign epilepsy is it true?

My mother underwent Burhole surgery for SDH after an accident in July 2016. She was insulin dependent diabetic for the past 15 years and also hypertension patient. Previously she was under medication with ecosprin, statins along with anti hypertensives and diabetic medication. From the last few months after discharge from hospital, She had been under medication with levetiracetam 500 (Twice daily), Metosartan 50 (Twice daily), Syndopa 110 (1/2 Tablet twice daily), Human Mixtard (20 units twice daily, Glycomet GP2 (twice daily) and Nexito forte at bedtime. Till recent past i.e up to 03/12/2016, she was given Colihinz 400 in the morning along with Clobazam 5 in addition to the above drugs. Though she is recovered on physical side, There has been continuous agitation, aggression and hallucinations, She feel as if she sees persons not present before us, feels as if hearing voices and sounds not heard by us. She fears of the traumatic incidents in respect of her relatives, snakebites or somebody belonging to offspring is attacked etc. She suffers from exertion and tremors at that time. Now most of the this condition is being observed. Is there any medical treatment for bringing her out of the hallucinations.
