Hi, I am experiencing excessive hair loss since the past month. My hair volume has reduced by more than 20% in this period. I suffered from Chikungunya nearly 2 months ago. Can the hair loss be related to it? I contacted a dermatologist who suggested follihair, anaphase shampoo and a 1: 2 ratio of clobetasol propionate topical solution with clotrimazole topical solution. It has been more than 2 weeks since when I am taking the treatment but there has been no change. Pls help!

My ringworm that I am suffering from last three months now I have consulted new doctor she os giving me tablets of terbinafine 250g ,deflazacort tablets 6 mg, itraconazole capsules, griseofulvin 250g and cream like castor -nf and dertop which contain betamethasone dipropionate, neomycin sulphate and clotrimazole. The ringworm is getting darker and irritation is less now but I want to ask is this tablets contain steroids or not and high time it will take to fade away. Please help me I want to remove it as soon as possible and if any home made remedy I can do please suggest me that also. I also have stopped eating rice, fermented product, oily product and sweets also. Please do help I have spent more than my capacity.

Health Query

The 32 year-old currently pregnant woman presented with severe itching and pain at the genitals. The itching started when she was pregnant with her third born, who is 2 years old now. She has been to hospital so many times and has tried a lot of different medication but to no avail. Hpc: itching is external on the suprapubis and the labia majora. The itching is so intense that it mostly become sore due to frequent scratching. Dhx: she has tried the ff meds miconazole, clotrimazole 2%, fluconazole tabs, neomycin cream yet to no avail. O/e: no visible rash seen but skin of the labia majora is rough and crusty. How should I treat her.

First of all in such cases it's difficult to give advice on based of description only. Doctors need to see the lesions. But one of possibility according to description is tinea corporis n it's very resistant also. She should consult a good dermatologist.

I'm having the problem of itching from the past 5 months. Have consulted 3 different skin specialists, each one diagnosed differently, treated differently but hardly any benefit. 1st one diagnosed it as dermatitis and treated with Fluconazole Methylprednisolone. Problem did not subside. 2nd one diagnosed it as a different kind of dermatitis and treated with Itraconazole. Problem did not subside. 3rd one diagnosed it as scabies and treated with different compounds. Problem did not subside. Various creams - Itraconazole, Clobetasol, Neomycin etc. Tried. Problem subsides but after some time recurs. Sweating causes the itching to spread all over body. Presently, main affected parts are Groin, lower back, belt line, below knees all along lower limb. Itching causes a lot of discomfort especially during nights.

Bt kuch dino se jaha pe daad hua tha uske pass thora itching ho raha hain. Ek rash v hua hain. Bt kohi ring worm mean rash k bahaar koi circle nahi hain. Kis wajah se aisa ho raha hain pls bataiye. Kya ye ringworm hain or garmi ki wajah se ho rahi hain or iss cream ka side effect hain?

I am having jock itch since 1 yr. I tried various creams with clotrimazole, miconazole, beclometasone, clobestol propionate etc on advice of doctors but nothing is working. Till I apply this cream, itching is bit less but it comes back with greater intensity as soon as I stop applying even for 1 day. I want to get rid of it permanently.
