If you have Scabies, clotrimazole cream will not help.Apply HHmite cream from neck to toes after taking soap bath and wash after 12 hrs. Single application only.Teczine 1 tablet daily at bedtime.

I'm 5 th month pregnancy doctor prescribed me clindamycin phosphate and clotrimazole cream and clotrimazole povidone iodine vaginal tablets how to use them? Can it used together at bedtime or can I use one at morning and another at bed night.

Insert vaginal tablet at bed time, so it should retain in vagina whole night. Cream can be applied any time.

Hello doctor! I have a doubt. Few days back I went to a gynaecologist for treating vaginal itching. She prescribed me clotrimazole ip cream but I am confused, I thought that she would give me clotrimazole vaginal cream but gave me clotrimazole ip cream and told to apply it inside the vagina as possible. Did the medical store person made a mistake by giving me clotrimazole ip cream instead of clotrimazole vaginal cream or clotrimazole ip cream can be applied inside the vagina? I have heard that clotrimazole ip cream is applied outside the vagina. Please reply me. If you want the photo of the prescription I can send you but jere I can not find that option .if the doctor who is reading this message give me whatsapp number I can send the photo of the prescription and the photo of the ointment I have been given by the medical store person. I am in a dilemma. I whatsapped many doctors but I did not get help but I trust in Lybrate because Lybrate has helped a lot. Waiting for your help. Please.

Hello Doctor, From last 1.5 years I am facing infection problem on my penis. It is reoccurring. I have consulted so many doctors like physician, dermatologist and other skin doctors but it's of no use. I am getting red spots on my penis cap, which burns. Cuts on my upper penis skin, it's like it become very dry. I have used so many fungal/anti bacteria cream. Till the time I use them infection stays under control but as soon I discontinue then it reoccur. Creams used like: cloben g, mycospor etc. It is impacting my sex like as well because when ever I do sex infection occurs, irrespective I do protective or unproductive. Also, because of the Burning sensation now I am having premature release.

I think you may be having dryness prone skin which may be causing repeated infections. Repeated infections in turn are causing distress in sexual relationship with your wife. Its not only you but your wife is also suffering. Also this is causing further complications in sexual relationships. Doctor I got vaginal thrush in oct fir which I used 1prcnt clotrimazole and my symptoms gone un 3-4 days I used medicine for 1 week. I got infection back again in january and I used clotrimazole again but no effect till date its been 16 days I am using clotrimazole I also took 3 doses of fluconazole am getting itching only when I am cleaning vaginal area with soap rest time I do not have any symptoms.

My doctor told me to use clotrimazole ip cream for one month. Now I think my periods are going to come. Should I stop using the clotrimazole ip cream during period and continue using it after my periods? Will stopping the application of the cream for a few days and then continuing the treatment affect the vaginal yeast infection treatment? Please reply doctors!

Hello, during menses anyhow you should stop all intravaginal applications as they will not work much. Just use alkaline vaginal wash regularly during menses to maintain menstrual hygiene.

Hello Lybrate user, most of the time a white patch on your skin could be just dryness related, sun damage or a fungal infection. Make sure to moisturise well, sun protection with a cap or helmet and if a fungal infection was suspected I would go in for a plain clotrimazole cream rather than the combination. 1. Apply panderm plus ointment twice daily for (1-2 week)
2.. Take one tablet of levocetrizine(5mg) at bed time if itching is severe
3.Thoroughly dry the area after taking bath and keep it dry and sweat free. Apply talcum powder in the area
4.Use loose cotton under wear instead of tight synthetic one
5. Change the under wear daily and use clean and washed one
6.Maintain personal hygiene
7. Consult for further advice
