Cloba 10 MG Tablet is generally prescribed in combination with another drug. It essentially treats a particular kind of seizure disorder called Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome (LGS). It can also be prescribed in the treatment of other problems as per the discretion of your doctor. The drug is a part of a class of medicines called benzodiazepine. Although how Cloba 10 MG Tablet particularly works is yet unknown, the general idea is that it controls the action of gamma-aminobutyric, which is a chemical released by the brain.

The drug should be taken orally, either with food or without. It has to be swallowed whole. In case you cannot consume Cloba 10 MG Tablet whole, mix it with apple sauce and swallow immediately. You can drink a water to wash down the mixture. Any extra mixture should not be stored. In case of a missed dosage, take the drug as soon as possible. Cloba 10 MG Tablet belongs to the class benzodiazepines. It works by increasing the effect of GABA which is an inhibitory neurotransmitter which results by increasing the permeability of chloride ions into the neuron thus result in hyperpolarization and stabilization of neuron.

    Amitriptyline

    Cloba 10 MG Tablet may increase the concentration of amitriptyline. Inform the doctor if you are receiving these medicines. Suitable dose adjustments are to be made based on the clinical condition or an alternate medicine should be considered.

    Ethinyl Estradiol

    The desired effect of contraceptive pills will not be achieved if these medicines are used together. A nonhormonal form of contraceptive is recommended during and 28 days after Cloba 10 MG Tablet. Appropriate dose adjustments or an alternate medicine should be considered under the doctor's supervision.

    Opoids

    Opioids like morphine, codeine, tramadol, hydrocodone or any cough preparations containing these medicines should be avoided when you are on Cloba 10 MG Tablet or other benzodiazepines. Appropriate dose adjustments are to be made if coadministration is needed and monitoring of sedation, breathlessness, and hypotension is necessary.

    Antihypertensives

    Cloba 10 MG Tablet may further lower the blood pressure when taken with antihypertensives. Inform the doctor if you are receiving these medicines. Any symptoms of dizziness, lightheadedness should be reported to the doctor. Dose adjustments are to be made based on the clinical condition or an alternate medicine should be considered.
