Hello Lybrate-user,
you can buy the Clindamycin phosphate + niacinamide combination gel for your acne treatment. This combination gel is prescribed for inflamed reddish acne. But use it according to your doctor's instructions, as prolonged usgae might lead to resistance.
Also, try general preventive measures like washing the face with water / soap for 3-4 times a day, avoid pricking the acne, avoid direct sunlight contact, avoid substances causing irritation when applied to the skin.

Hi. Redness is a side effect of supatret (tretinoin) if you use in large quantity on face. Better to stop this cream for few days and use only clindymycin gel .use a good moisturizer like aquasoft fc twice daily. See the response for 7 to 10 days .if no improvement then follow up with the dermatolgist. Thanks.

Hi. Avoid using clindamycin gel for more than 3 weeks as resistance can develop to it. Instead use Brevoxyl cream at night just a pea size drop for entire face. If pimples still persist see a dermatologist

Associated with increased oil production is a change in the manner in which the skin cells mature, predisposing them to plug the follicular pore
