Ideally it should not be dissolved but if there is no choice then you can dissolve it, but dissolve it in only 2 tsf water as the taste is very bad and you won’t be able to gulp much, but there is suspension form of same medicine also available if you search for it.

As the others have noted, alcohol can make things worse - or more common. alcohol interferes with the body’s normal process of eliminating uric acid (high uric acid concentrations are a cause of not only gout, but some kidney stones as well). So the more you drink, the more uric acid can build up - when concentrations are high enough it can start to crystallize - typically in low-temperature areas
