Hello, thanks for the query.
I am sure you must have seen the ingredients of both these tablets. There is hardly any difference as glycomet trio 2 contains voglibose 0.2 mg & the other tablet has voglibose 0.3 mg. So there is hardly any difference. Both tablets have similar effect. Most important is you should be able to maintain your fbg < 100 mg or closer to it. Pp 150 to 160 mg & hba1c% < 6.5%. At that level you will be able to maintain a good health, plus postpone or prevent long term co...more

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
I have gone through the details given and notice that you do have multiple issues. In addition your BMI is 29 kgs/Sq Meter, which is very close to grade 1 obesity. This itself is a major contributor for improper control of diabetes and high BP. Plus it is possible that due uncontrolled hypothyroidism there is excess weight gain. Your ideal weight should be around 59 kgs, as against that you are now 79 kgs (20 kgs excess).

Hi. Increase in creatinine happens due to dysfunction of the kidney. Looking at your history it looks like your father is having chronic kidney disease. Some contribution to everything is partly his aging process as well. However he will need evaluation for the cause of worsening from 1.8 to 2.3. Also his diet seems to be reasonable. Pls meet a nearby nephrologist immediately.

As per your mentioned report, you had an heart attack which seems to have been managed well due to timely thrombolysis and as per this report only minimal blockage is present in this report. Based on this report the medical advice that has been given to you is fine. But we cannot comment with 100% surety without looking at the angiography CD, because sometimes the study is either not interpreted or done correctly, but assuming that this is the report your present treatment is ok.

Your reports are fine. It will be difficult to say what is the cause of this dizziness without proper evaluation, my suggestion is consult your treating cardiologist with a ECG, echo and 24 HR holter report, these tests will give an idea about any heart related cause of dizziness. Your concern about having a repeat attack can also be reassured by getting annual check up done with Lipid profile and stress echo and remaining in follow up of your cardiologist.
