Hello there, This is Nasrat, 29 years old, I`m suffering form depression since last four years while I have last my beloved brother. So, I took different kinds of medications such as fluoxetine 20 mg, escitalopram 10 mg, paroxetine 10 mg, mirtazapine USP 15 mg, venlafaxine Hcl 75 mg, Lithium carbonate B.P. 400 mg etc. But still I have the same problem, difficulty in thinking (poor concentration, poor memory), excessive feel of guilt, loss of interest in most activities, sleep disturbances, decreased energy or tiredness, feeling of low self confidence, feeling of hopelessness, decrease in activity, excessive or inappropriate worries, anticipation of the worst, thoughts of suicide. Besides, I have premature ejaculation and no sexual desire. So, I`m really disappointed. Are there any solution for my problems? Its mentionable that when I was in Japan, I took Lorazepam (0, 5 mg), Brotizlolam (0, 25 mg), Trazodone (25 mg), Suvorexant (20 mg), Escitalopram (10 mg), Lansoprazole (15 mg) for 8 months, with those medications I felt very well, but unfortunately, when I returned to my country, there were no those medications available, and my depression attacked me again. So, dear doctors Please please please recommend me what to do? I`m not interested to live in this world but, I`m the only person to support my big family. At the same time, I took (Clarithromycin 500 mg, Amoxicillin 1000 mg 14 days), (Lansoprazole 30 mg 3 months) for positive h pylori but did not work. Again, I took (Clarithromycin 500 mg, metronidazole, Amoxicillin 1000 mg 14 days), (esomeprazole 40 mg 3 months) for positive h pylori but still I have the same issue. Your cooperation would be highly appreciated. Thank you so much in advance.

Dear lybrate-user,
You need a proper diagnosis before going in for treatment. If h pylori is confirmed, it needs active treatment. Premature ejaculation and loss of sexual desire also needs to be diagnosed and treated. At Japan, you were treated with Lorazepam (available in India). Instead of brotizolam, you can try etizolam available in India. Trazodone available in India. Suvorexant is another mild hypnotic. Hi. I was hospitalized last month for dengue and acute bronchitis now I am suffering from sore throat or you can say irritation in throat and runny nose leading to often sneezing. I get this every month and now I really feel helpless as doctor said it's also because of low immunity. The last time when my throat was infected I visited ent doctor and he gave me few medicines [medicine name Saral-d with content Diclofenac potassium & serratiopeptidase tablets, medicine Cloff 250 with content Clarithromycin tablets IP, medicine Lukotas HD with content levocetirizine Montelukast & (SR) ambroxol hydrochloride tablets and lastly medicine Acebrobic with content acebrophylline capsules 100 my)] and also explained me some do's and don'ts. It was cured completely by these medicines I found these very helpful but again I'm getting throat pain and runny nose. Please suggest me some medicines which I can take whenever I get these symptoms as I hate going to the doctor again and again. What do I do I'm really fed up of taking medicines almost every month also I sometimes try home remedies which hardly helps for me?

Avoid triggering factors. Take plenty of fruits vegetables dry fruits.
Do yoga meditation breathing exercises.

Starting mid april, I had on and off coughing. On 5th may I had x-ray done and doctor mentioned lrti right lung/chest. After taking medicine and 2nd x-ray on 20th may was fine. Pulmunologist suggested to take medicine for a another 3 weeks (allegra m & abphyllin-sr). After 3 weeks I still have slight coughing issue and chest congestion and sometime sore throat. There is constant urge to clear throat. I do steam inhalation mostly twice a day. During steam coughing increase and brings white frothy phlegm. Wheezing is there too (but better then before). Normal cough also produces white jelly phlegm and sometimes little black specks or spot. I don't have breathing issue or fever. But confession and coughing irritates. Also covid test came negative twice on 6th may and 3rd june. I noticed after taking antibiotics for 3-5 days it reduces and but comes back. Initially I took variant on amoxcilin, clarithromycin and it was better for few days. After moxinov also it was better for few days.

History suggests obstructive lung disease like bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis, with respiratory tract infection. Blood count will help to suspect infection needing proper antibiotics for long duration. Sputum culture and afb test also helps. If everything normal you need very aggressive medication of long duration from pulmonologist. Regular periodic follow up necessary age not mentioned. Your overweight also adds to problem.

I am suffering from anxiety and fear that I am having some serious disease. It all started from the vertigo attack which happened 6 months back. Though it lasted for only few minutes but gave me a scary experience. After that I had a gastro kind of stomach upset. More than 10-12 doctors I have consulted, visited many hospitals. Got all kinds of random tests done. Tests were normal one doctor advised me clarithromycin thrice a day for 10 days along with moxifloxacin and gentle but still I have the feeling of unwellness. Now I am suffering from ibs symptoms for that I have taken cisa spa and pantop d. Suffering from chronic constipation. Random pains here and there in stomach and other body parts. Always in a state of anxiety and fear. Though I feel hungry but do not feel like eating. Not able to eat or sleep properly. Now advice me whomever should I visit or what should I do. Should I go for endoscopy or mri. Is this the side effects of allopathic medication.

My son fifteen year old has brown spots appeared internal over left wrist and left under arm. There is no itching etc. The said spots got checked from local doctor who said it skin infection n given six tablets (the name we don't know as we thrown d empty strip n Dr. didn't give us prescription slip) one cream "MONOCLAR CLARITHROMYCIN Gel 1%w/w for application twice a day n one soap. We didn't notice any relief n again visited d same Dr. stated to b skin specialist he again gave capable twice a day named" SentiVin-L" one cream for morning named Glosig skin whitening cream n for night "Mometasone Cream IP Mova for ten days. Pl advice what is d disease n some one suggested us that Dr. gives steroid for most of patients n I also thought y didn't Dr. give prescription slip n just give one registration card which neither show type of disease nor medicine prescription. Some one also suggested to apply mustard oil for few days. Pl advice what it is n how it can b cured. I ll feel thankful if couple of opinions pour in. The problem is spot only though not very dark n no pain no irritation.

I am 36 years old male suffering from anxiety related symptoms where stomach bloats up under stress Also have chronic abdomen cramping, constipation and gas. 45 days ago had an h pylori diagnosis (after endoscopy which revealed mild chronic gastritis) . Completed triple therapy (amoxicillin, clarithromycin, omeprazole). However feeling severe bloating and chest pressure (becomes more acute under work stress and anxiety) , constipation and cramping. Did a course of Xifaxan , 40 % relief from bloating and cramp severity after taking Xifaxan but still getting severe bloating and occasional nausea. Currently on 1. Nexium once in morning 2. Homeopathy - Lycopodium when uncomfortable Gal bladder has 2 stones (9 mm, 6 mm) and has partial distention. But no pain at all (doctor said it is not an issue at this stage) ECG ,Liver enzymes , creatine - normal / no hepatitis detected in bloodwork/, triglycerides little high Doctor said it is anxiety and prescribed Ativan but I do not want to get myself hooked on to anxiety medications (due to dependence) Is there any alternative therapy/investigations.

Gall stones needs surgery even they are not causing any problem. Your gas problem can be due to stones. You should get it operated before it gives some complications.
