Crixan is pretty safe but betamil gm is very strong steroid so if you have been applying it for very long time then withdrawal is likely to cause side effects. That doesn't mean you do not stop this cream because continuing it will cause way more side effects.

the reason your friend has lost sense of smell or taste is because the virus generally affects the nervous system and this is true of many viral infections including the common cold. Some patients can completely lose their sense of smell and taste even after one episode of a common cold. That being said, claribid is an antibiotic and not an antiviral; however we use it due to its immunomodulation properties and ability to affect protein synthesis. (complex reasons!).more
