The common cold is a viral disease it doesn't require any antibiotic. Ciprofloxacin is a very strong antibiotic.

Do not use antibiotics indiscriminately. Or conect with local ophthalmologist. However you may use trifla 'phant' to clean wash the eyes. You may make 'phant' at home. Its an unique, safe, eye wash that opens lacrymal duct, reduces inflammation, soothes eyes. Pl consult if interested for further guidance.

This is the treatment for mild cases. If you don't respond you will have to go for higher order antibiotics.

Lybrate-user you need not take all this for your symptoms. What you need is regularity of your meal timings. Avoid milk and take lots of curd. You just need good PPI for acid suppression.

Hello,
thanks for your query on Lybrate
"as" per your clinical history is concerned do take medication as suggested by your doctor, and to rule out any other causes do blood test (cbc with differential and rapid antigen test for malaria) and change medications as per test results.
Hope that helps.
