Dear lybrate-user,
propranolol can be stopped at any time. But what do you plan to do to relieve tense muscles and fast heart rate? If you can cope with it or distract with the thought that you have no cardiac issues, it is okay. More importantly, if you are sure of not going to hospital in emergency nor take another ecg.

Hello, thanks for the query.
Tsh 0.1 mu/l is not yet in the hyperthyroidism range. It is lower than normal. You have not mentioned t4 level, which is more relevant than t3. If you have tachycardia (fast pulse, >100/minute) and palpitation, then only proplanolol 20 mg or 40 mg may be helpful. But no other drug is needed. Thanks.

But self-treatment in your case may not be helpful, because it needs more systematic approach like structured de-addiction program which involves a team of professionals such as general physicians, psychiatrists, psychologist/counsellors and other forms of supports (social workers, yoga etc.). Hello, Thanks for the query.
I have seen the details given. From the given hormone levels it is clear that you have developed hypothyroidism, which needs appropriate treatment. Please come back with details like what are symptoms you are having, T3 & T4 (total levels), lipid profile, heart rate, BP readings. Plus what were the thyroid hormone levels when thyroiditis was diagnosed? It is better if you come in a private conversation so that I will be able to give specific advice and also presc...more
