Dear lybrate user. Please don’t panic. You must understand ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION. There is nothing called erectile dysfunction while having masturbation. Loosing erection in the initial stages of sex or not having erection at all or having late erection or lack of sexual desire are called erectile dysfunction. Erectile dysfunction can be a sign of a physical or psychological condition. It can cause stress, relationship strain, and low self-confidence. I suggest sex therapy.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
Beta blockers are used quite often to control hypertension and related cardiac problems in patients with diabetes also. They are fairly safe. Some times hypoglycemic episodes may not be easily recognised. Thanks.

Hello. Propranolol is a very safe and first line of drug used in performance anxiety on when needed basis. It does not cause dependence like benzodiazepines.
Few doses of propranolol can never cause low libido.
Also if a patient is taking it on a regular basis then also side effects are temporary and goes away in few weeks in its own most of the time so next time when you have an interview take 20 mg of tab propranolol 15-20 min before the interview starts. Hope I answered your question.

Dear user you can reduce your medicines and then stop slowly but first of all I need a complete case history of yours and want to guide you about your thoughts and worries so that without medicines you can enjoy your life in a better way, but without knowing everything I won’t be able to help you. Please speak to your precribing doctor about changing one of the drugs or reducing the dose. Taking both these drugs together can sometimes lead to such side effects.
