I have borderline diabetes my hbA1 c remains in between 6. 5 to7 and fasting sugar about 110 and pp160 to 170 this condition is since about 15 years but some times it crosses line and gets above pp200 fasting 130 then I start medicine metformin500 with glimpride. 5 mg after two or three months of treatment my blood sugar gets down pop near 70or below 70 then I am advice to stop medicine because my bp also gets down this happen in summer season now I am on diet control pop sugar 163 hbA1c6. 8 I am taking bp medicine cilnidipine10 and metprol xl25 pl suggest cause and treatment whether I am diabetic or not.

Hi,
Kindly maintain good sugar control through proper medication n diet.
Here a few tips.
Maintain food timing.
Use fiber rich food such as whole cereals, pulses, leafy vegetables, n vegetables that grows above the ground.
Use multigrain atta.
Include 50g/day of fruits.
Drink plenty of water.
Walk for 30 min/day.
Avoid sweets, sugar, Jaggery, honey, oily stuff n junk food.
Go for a balanced meal.
Moderation is the key for diabetics.

I have high BP and tachycardia since 2012. Every test has been and nothing is working out. Specially for tachycardia whenever I take medicines initially it is effective then after days it doesn't have any effect. Currently taking metoprolol 150 mg (50 mg thrice, ntp 25 mg ,prazosin 5 mg, diltiazem 90 Sr, cilnidipine 10 mg ,losartan 50 and etc. Though my BP is under control but tachycardia still happens specially as the medicine time comes. Did my holter and it showed sinus tachycardia only. Done all tests for endocrinologist related. Please help me and if possible suggest me some good doctor in Mumbai so I can start the treatment. I don't have anxiety or stress for sure as I'm happy go person.

I am a female, 61 years old. I am hypertension and I take the following medicines - In the morning- CTD 12. 5 mg, Olmesartan Medoxomil 40 mg and Prazosin Hydrochloride Extended Release 5 mg. At night- Prazosin HCl ER 5 mg and Cilnidipine 10 mg. As I was not feeling my normal self for the last few days (around 11 am daily), I went to a doctor (medical specialist), who found my blood pressure to be low (114/70). Even BP recorded at home for the last two days was lower. Doctor now has advised to stop taking CTD totally and also to stop Prazosin HCl ER 5 mg in the morning. What is your opinion on the doctor's advice, especially with regards to stopping CTD instantly, without any dose reduction. Awaiting an early response please. Best regards.

Your blood pressure is on lower side hence needs to cut down of medicine.

What does it mean when you have fatty liver stage 2? 6 year back I had fatty liver only. I'm already high BP ,severe insulin resistance ,and tachycardia patient and I'm on lots of betablockers and calcium channel blockers. My weight is under control since 2015. I take metoprolol 150 mg (50 mg thrice a day, diltiazem 90, cilnidipine 10 mg, prazosin 5 mg, losartan50, metformin 1000 mg (twice a day) ,ntp 25 and one more I forgot the name. I think my medicines are causing. But now my BP is under control else it used to be 180/120 always. I even did 24 hr ecg where my tachycardia was always 150 around at rest. And it showed sinus tachycardia only. My all test for thyroid, endocrine related are done.

Respected sir/ madam my mother has bp and she is taking cilnidipine 5 mg tablet every day. We monitor her bp everyday with bp monitoring machine. I checked in some websites that normal range bp is systolic 90 to 120 and dialostic 60 to 80. Should she continue taking medicine if the bp readings are in between these values? Should she take medicine if systolic is less than 90 and dialostic is in-between 60 and 80? Should she take medicine if systolic is in between 90 and 120 and dialostic is less than 60? Thank you.

Sir, I am suffering from high bp since 35. Yrs at present my age is 63, pure vegetarian even didn't take egg, no drinking, no smoking. No bad habits. .in 2014 year I had severe giddiness with like vertigo head is revolving like clock & hospitalized treated with stugeron forte, diligon, vertin, stablanz-pv, tablets, after 10 days discharged with a prescription of same medicine, after two months the tablets for giddiness were stopped. As per the neuro physician advice, telma80 mg, morning and in the night cinod. 20 mg, at present my bp is 145/86, I am continuing with this two tablets since five years, besides this I am suffering from gouty arthritis and dvt, since 5 years, for which medicines such as acitrom 2 mg & 1 mg. For alternate days according to pt & inr. Reports. For gouty, febuxoget 40 mg. And dolonex. Dt. Regularly. Since 5 years. I am suffering very weak and nervousness,(fatigue) and severe muscle cramps, for which doctor prescribed re nerve plus inj. For monthly and ucalamin tablets daily one, no heart problem and diabetes, and no other complications. But I am having very nervousness, muscle cramps, breathlessness, even after using renerve plus inj and ucalamin tablets, only two or three days feeling better after taking injection, after that same fatigue, breathing problem and nervousness occurring with backache, and when bending towards down, feeling breathless fatigue, even though lungs and heart is normal in cardiologist examination, Recently I had suffered edema, swelling, could say, whole body retention of water, gaining suddenly weight gaining. When consulted a local physician he advised .chlorothiazide12. 5 & dytor plus. 10 mg. Along with telma. 80 mg.& cinod 20. Mg. Tablets, and advised to continue the tablets for dvt. Gouty, as usual. I am using the same tablets since two months and continuing, swelling, water retention is under control. But in this time I am suffering from, hemorrhoids, bleeding with high pain in anus, facing very difficulty in defecation. Some bump or a little shape has come out at the out side of anus. It is giving unbearable pain. Used stypto vit ,texakind .no use. At present managing pain with deflaza cort, and ultracet, dolonex dt.
