For 10 days to 20 days I am getting imbalance while walking on road or going on bicycle. Suddenly, I am getting vertigo and feeling a difference in body movement. It looks a mild shaking of body. Shall I use vertigon tablet or stemetil? Please kindly tell me which is the best for my disease.

I have consulted a Dr. Who has suggested- 1- gemvert 2- stemetil md (now discontinued and advised to be taken sos) 3- vertin 48 mg how long will it take to cure this disease and the treatment will go. Please don't add cinnarzine, it acts almost like stemetil md so it can boost the activity of stemetil. Rather keep a check on bp and sugars. If you can explain your complains helping would be easier, if needed you can plan video consultation wherein I can show you some exercises. Nb exercise should be done near bed and in presence of someone.

I am a 57 years old and suffering from diabetes, at present taking glimperide - 2+2, zita-met 50mg/500mg - 1+1 and volibo-m. 03-1+1+1. Please advice me if there is any alternative medicine because these are very costly. Regards

Hi, I have been diagnosed with a eustachian tube dysfunction in right ear. I was given betnesol and tetracycline ointment to rub in nostrils. Those did not help and I have been feeling faint and unwell. I was then given a prescription for momate az and stugeron forte. I used the momate 3 hrs ago with little relief. Can I take stugeron even though I used the moment earlier today? Feeling really awful.

Yes. You can take that. But my advice is to get properly investigated as you are feeling giddiness. Consult an ent specialist for proper advice.

20 years of vertigo is no joke. Get complete audio vestibular tests done. First diagnose if it is meniere's syndrome, BPPV, Vestibular neuronitis, etc then start treatment.

Itraconazole falls under c category of fda and will not produce fetal anomalies. Vertin (beta histine) has no illeffect during pregnancy. However it is always better not to use these drugs during organogenesis period.(8-10 wks of pregnancy) as you have already consumed the drugs, do an anomaly scan at 18 wks to exclude major fetal anomalies and plan.

The balancing apparatus in your internal ear is responsible for this. Abnormal signals are sent by the vestibular apparatus to brain which causes you this feeling of vertigo. You need to do epley maneuver for this. Depending upon the side on which you get vertigo, there is a specific procedure to be followed.
