You must consult a cardiac electrophysiologist who are specialists in the disorders of the rhythm of heart. You will require detailed evaluation including 24 hour holter monitoring, to know the exact nature of your palpitations. Palpitations can be due to normal rhythm or abnormal rhythm both so untill we know the exact cause of palpitations we can not cure them. Visit a cardiac electrophysiologist and please do not consume medicines on the advice of some pharmacist.

Exercise daily for 45 minutes.
Do breathing exercises.
Eat low salt food.
Exercise should be strenous.
Drink 3 litre water daily.
Eat light food.
Though it won't take all pills away immediately but would help slowly slowly.

Pl believe in your doctor. However for permanent cure, pl switch to Ayurvedic or integrated approach (subject to condition). Otherwise thyroid treatment, asthma treatment and HTN treatment in allopathy generally lasts till life span. Pl consult for ayurvedic treatment giving full history.
