It will not change your diagnosis, but anxiety will worsen your BP. 3) Alongwith medicines follow lifestyle precautions- Walk daily for 40-45 mins, quit smoking, eat a healthy diet, avoid high salty food like chips, sauces, pickles, avoid drinking too much caffeine. 4) And consult your treating cardiologist from time to time for titration and follow up of your medications.
