Hello If there is pain and swelling you better consult an ent surgeon to see if there is any fracture or displacement of the underlying nasal bones. If so, it's better to correct early. After a couple of days, fibrosis sets in and then it cannot be corrected. Thence correction can be done only after 3 or 4 months by an operation called rhinoplasty.
