Asked for male, 60 years old from Bangalore

For my psychosis, I am prescribed sizopin 25 mg 0-0-1. I have told to start taking chlorpromazine 100 mg 0-0-1. Sleep is good and psychotic symptoms are under check. My query is: are these two compatible with each other or are they contraindicated? Please confirm.

Both of these medications are antipsychotics but also cause good sleep. Both effects are there with these medications. However sizopin 25mg is very low dose and good for sleep only, at this dose doesn't help in controlling psychotic symptoms much.

My father aged 70 is having continuous hiccups, tried several medications including perinorm cd, liofen 10, stemetil md, chlorpromazine 100 mg, but nothing works. Kindly advise.

mucaine gel 10 ml without water 10 ml three hourly.
or
lidocaine gel liquid without water four tsf can be repeated four hours, if available.
