In the past months I started to feel more and more pain during sex, itching and creamy white discharge. I went to my gynecologist and he diagnosed yeast infection. He gave me a borax brushing, and took a sample to send to the lab. He told me to use gynoxin, and prescribed me a hydrocortisone creme for the itching (tried canesten before but did not make any difference). I used the capsules but after the 1st box I did not feel any changed so I used another, but still nothing. Called him for my results 2 week later and the paper said I had an inflammation so he prescribed me fluomizin 10 mg, which was an antiseptic medicine that I had to use for 6 days. I finished that 2 weeks ago, and everything is still the same. The cream was good, but even that is still not 100% better. Now I ordered a boric acid capsules that I will use for 7-14 days but I do not even expect anything from that either… what else could I do to be better?

Hi, i'm a 27 old male, I have red itchy (rash) spot on my chest also inside and around my ears, when I scratch it some white flakes appear. First it was a small dot on my chest then it grew larger everyday. When I apply hydracort 0.5% (hydrocortisone) cream on the rash disappears but as soon as I stop applying it, it resurfaces again. Also hair dandruff and hair fall appeared in the same time as this rash. My scalp became so itchy only when use a specific shampoo which has selenium sulfide, the dandruff and itchiness eases. Please look into my issue and help me diagnose my problem. Thank you.

Hydrocortisone is a steroid and should be used with caution and only under medical supervision. I will suggest you one hair oil - mahabhringaraj hair oil should help you.

My dermatologist recommended me brite mixed with other cream called futop b.i’ve been using brite almost since a year now. I’ve been having acne n scars it also helped me with that also my complexion. With skipping it for a week or 20 days or so. Also I asked him if it’s safe to use or will it have any side effect with usage or if stopped he told there won’t be any side effect it can later be used alternate days. And the other day hydrocortisone mixed microbenz 3.5%. What should I do? Do I reduce the use or stop it. Will there be any side effect to my skin after stopping it. I’ve been using it with little breaks though. Also I don’t want my skin to go dark due to side effect or anything. What do I do for not getting any side effect on my skin with stopping it. Pls suggest.

I want to know the medicines which cures my itching problems at genital organs symptoms- dryness, scaly skin, leathery skin, itching at scrotum and near by areas, skin is smooth and looks normal like nothing is there but this symptom are occurs more than 1 year treatment taken - 1. Used several fungal infection cream like miconazole, luliconazole and itraconazole capsule also and etc 2. Taken ivermectin and also used permethrin ointment fews weeks ago nothing progressed 3. Probably the itching in your genital areas is related to dryness if nothing is visible in that area
use a moisturizer daily and a low potent topical steroid can b used on recommendation by a registered dermatologist.

Hi I think I had piles, so I went to a doctor and he prescribed me Pantoprazole Sodium & Domperidone (empty stomach), cefixime 200 mg, satranidazole 300 mg and (aceclofenac 100 mg, paracetamol 325 mg & serratiopeptidase 15 mg) all three twice a day. An ointment of lidocaine, hydrocortisone acetate, zinc oxide and allantoin to apply locally for 7 days. I had that treatment. I had two piles. The pain has reduced and the discomfort as well while passing stool but they are not properly healed. What should I do? I had anal sex earlier, could it be due to that? Other symptoms include itching on the anus, redness and itching on both sides of penis, dead skin at the end of the penis. Please suggest.

I have a lump like skin near anus. No pain or discomfort. Sometimes slight discomfort while defecation. Went to doctor, he said it's just skin due to healed fissure and prescribed sits bath and to apply "calcium dobesilate, lignocaine, hydrocortisone acetate & zinc cream" but have not used it because i'm very busy due to exams. Some say steroid creams are of no use and they just delay healing process. I'm so worried it gives me sleepless nights. How can I reduce this skin? Without surgery. Pls answer. Asking for 20 year old. Doctor said it will be reduced by applying cream. Should I use it? Or will it delay healing process like some are saying?

There is no medical management for skin tags. If you do not have any pain or discomfort, you can discontinue the cream/ointments. The skin tag won't go away without surgery, but will not cause any harm either.
