This may be symptoms of allergic rhinitis.
You need thorough ent check up, blood tests for allergic markers and ct scan of sinuses.
After proper evaluation course of medication can be given. Its curable.
On and off cetrizine is not the right solution.

lybrate-user it is important to know why are you having itching in first place. (what you are going at present is like taking taking paracetamol for fever - but not curing dengue/typhoid/malaria causing it).

Hello, we need to find out the cause for itching before treatment. There are causes like urticaria, eczema, allergic reactions, liver and renal systemic causes, contact dermatitis etc. Some topical therapy, soothening agents like calamine lotion or moisturiser should also be tried along with antihistaminics like avil or ceterezine.
