If you observe your sugars correctly, post breakfast and post dinner blood sugars are high. Can you do some dietary modifications by cut down carbohydrates from your diet first in breakfast and dinner like reducing half chapati or bhakri from it. Stop sugars completely. Keep on checking your blood sugars. I hope it will come down and may be you can reduce your tablets as well in future.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
It is good to see that both BP and blood glucose are fairly well controlled. Increase in microalbuminuria and creatinine suggests that kidney are getting affected mostly due to diabetes.
One of the group of drugs recommended for hypertension with diabetes is ACE-Inhibitors like Lisinopril, Enalepri or ARBs like Losartan, Telmisartan or Olmesartan etc. Thanks.

If med given by your doctor is not helping you much, you need to first add herbals to control htn and then slowly withdraw allopathy in a directed way. Certain other simple measures like deep breathing patterns will also be advised to cure htn. You have to do it by choice if you want to stay away from side effects and continuity of allopathy drugs. Pl consult privately on Lybrate chat with your current reports/ history/ any other health issues.

High bp is a lifestyle and dietary disease which does not need any medicines. Can be reversed by diet and lifestyle changes only medicines will not work for any lifestyle and dietary disease. They only put a temporary fix and do not cure permanently.
There is no need to take blood pressure medicines lifelong unless you have developed the complications of high blood pressure. Read the side effects of bp medicines before taking them. Otherwise you may land up in new complications.

Yes, eritel ch has a compound which has a diuretic action, that makes you urinate more. And now since your BP is low, you can switch to just Eritel as this does not have the diuretic action, hence your BP may revert back to normal. Also make sure you have adequate intake of water also. If you found my answer helpful, please leave a like/ thanks. Thank you.

I totally understand that is very hard to deal with medical conditions for a long time and be on medications on a daily basis for physical health problems. On top of those, you may be drained of the possibility of being depressed due to chronic medical conditions, the symptoms of which you have laid out in your description of problems. I also believe that you may need to have medications started for your depression and it is usually a short course of 3-4 months with a subsequent 2-month taper. I...more
