Hy. I had unprotected oral sex and protected vaginal sex with a girl known to have reputation of sleeping around with other people. After the incident I got a bit tensed and approached my GP. I have no symptoms. No discharge or anything. Just bit pain while urinating. Its been 12 days of exposure if any. My Gp wants to treat me for gonorrhea n chlamydia together and has prescribed cefpodoxime proxetil 200 and azithromycin 1g to be taken together at one dose. And then continue with cefpodoxime for 1 week. And has told me to get hiv Elisa and vdrl testing after 6 weeks. Just wanted to know if this is the right approach?

Yes it is. You can go for the hiv Elisa after 3 months actually as it won't show up so soon if at all you r infected which I hope you aren't. Don't worry and please follow the medications. If you need a second opinion please seek it at the earliest.

My husband took Thyrocare test. Below results were found. Hs-crp greater than 9.65 mg/mg LDL: 128 mg/dl HDL: 35 mg/dl I am worried about high hs-crp value. It says it's greater than 9.65 but how much, it is not mentioned. He is 30 years old. One year back hs-crp was 2.66 mg/ml. It all increased in one year.

Is it good? If it's not good, tell me the dangers of taking excessive anxiety and stress. I'll give up such an idea to wash out the drug. Durabolin in fact may increase your weight rather than reduce. By the way, it was prescribed. If you are anxious and stresses, durabolin which is a steroid is not the answer. Also it is not that easily prescribed, I have never heard that too for weight loss. You better get a second opinion from a psychiatrist.

I have been under fertility treatment and have been on clomid since day 2 of my periods and when I when for a 12 day follicular scanning the doctor said that there was a right sized follicle and I was given a hcg 5000 injection and was asked for to get a blood checkup done to check my progesterone levels on day 21. Today is day 21 and and I got my blood checkup done and the results came out to be 15.88 mg/ml. I just want to know whether it is normal and will I be able to get pregnant this month with a above given level progesterone level.

I visited ent he said its ear furuncle in left ear he gave me antibiotic cepodem and pain killer keeping my preg in mind.
