I have been diagnosed with viral acute bronchitis after I have severe cough and which even makes me to vomit especially after taking food. It is not also getting digested properly so I am immediately getting vomit once I have a severe cough after food. I have taken all the antibiotics so far. They have given cepodem 200 and endobact forte for this problem. Will this solve but still there is no change in my cough. I have been taking medicines for gerd for almost an year and so till now I didn't had any problem bt this last ten days it is very worst for me. So please suggest me better treatment to get rid of my cough so that I can enjoy my food without vomiting.

I am 38 years old, had a mild fever 98.5 with extreme chill 2 days back, body ache and severe headache, there is no cold, no cough, I had my dengue test also done which resulted negative, had nicip plus with cepodem 200 ,got a bit relaxed but still body seems to be exhausted, sometimes feel mild fever from inside, sometime restless, did some blood test in which cbc under rbc indices mcv is 106.87,mchc 30.72,mch 32.83,crp is 23, under lft. Sgpt (alt) is 44. Kindly suggest.

Hi Doctor, I have been diagnosed with chronic prostate, I have been using medicines from 1-month levofloaxin @ 2 weeks and alfusin and nu bph for 1 months its been. Recently I got affected with cold and cough so ent doctor given me cepodem 325 mg @ 5 days and, sinarest (but I used cheston cold) and betadine for gargle. Now I am feeling malaise, pain in the muscle at legs, problem urinating, inflammation in urethra should I need to be worried about chronic prostate infection recurring?

Most of anticold drugs contain sympathomimetic drugs
its effect is the opposite of alfusin. You may need antifungal drugs as you are using two antibiotics.

Respected Dr. I'm 38 years male having half a gram size warts on my left hip. After 6 days of applying thuja ointment red itchy rashes appeared surrounding warts & I stopped thuja. But infection increased, & red portion became blackish hardy patch type surrounding wart with too much of pus discharge & itching. Currently i'm applying dipgenta+ ointment and taking cepodem xp 325 twice a day & cetrizine once a day. Since 4 days passed 75%relief in pus discharge & itching, but blackish hardy patch surrounding wart & watery pimples not lessening. Should I continue with this antibiotics for next 6 more days?

Hello doc 2 months back I have travelled around 200 km from bike and from the very next day. I had severe abdominal pain accompanied by vomiting, bloating ,nausea and diarrhoea then I start taking medications. A lot of medication but none of them was effective except rifaximin 200 mg which I took twice a day for 5 days and it gave me a lot of relief. But after few days of stopping medication symptoms started appearing again. Then I changed my doctor and currently I am taking chloramphenicol 500 mg cefpodoxime 200 mg but these are not proving effective, also my hair start falling.In my ultrasound report there were features of mild ileitis. Its been 2 month now and I am getting depressed. Now should I stick to these tablet or should I go back to rifaximin. And one more thing .Is my disease curable?

Chlorhexadine doesn't stain easily it's the tartar or deposit get scaling polishing done by a dentist than brush twice daily especially at night for ulcers pl send a picture of the ulcers to understand that better.

I had my widal test as 1: 80, 1: 80. I was admitted in hospital and treated with piptaz antibiotics for 3 days. They discharged me as wbc count was back to normal and fever was gone. After 1 day, fever was back on every afternoon like before. Widal was negative. Recently, did a fever profile, it's again showing widal positive 1: 80, 1: 80 after 10 days. I still have around 100.4 F fever, not more than that. Its less in morning. Please suggest what's needs to be done. Doc is adamant to admit in hospital again. I've changed my doctor, previously was on cefixime antibiotics, new doc prescribed cefpodoxime antibiotics.

Widal reports showing 1:80 titres are not confirmative of typhoid infection but there is some kind of primary infection which we have to treat and we might need a combination of antibiotics say for example ( cefixime with ofloxacin)

I am a mother of two kids 3.5 n 10 p months old. I have a question to all the doctors. Ppl say common cold is s common n cures naturally. While I ahve seen with both of kids n myself it has a cycle which ia of runny nose 2 days, stuffy nose 1-3 days and then coughing for 6 plus days. I have tried curing them with so many home remedies but nothing seems to help. Everytime I have to take my kids to doctor either homeopathic or allopathic for one or the other phase of the cycle. Like coughing etc for which doctor prescribes antibiotic like currently to my daughter for cough in sleep she is prescribed cefpodoxime. Why is common cold not common nowadays.

There is no role of antibiotics in Common cold. Cough during sleep may be due to nostrils block. Instill saline nasal drop in each nostrils that may be helpful.
