Hyperprolactinemia is an endocrinological problem where definitely to keep it normal you have to take .otherwise it may effect your menstrual cycles and also fertility if you are married and planning for baby
.also it effects thyroid hormone in other ways so also keep a check on tsh with this.

It may not be carbegoline induced. Psychosis can relapse after few months, if medications are stopped. She needs to be treated again with antipsychotics and if carbegoline is essential, continued along with it. Good luck
