These are raised bcz vit d is less. Take orange juice but sunlight is the main source of vit d, try to sit in sunlight for at least half an hour naked as much as you can. Vit b 12 its fish which is very good, milk, cheese, milk products n some of soy products.

Have plenty of milk and diary product which contains lot of calcium and alsonyou should have sandoz calcium tablet onendaily as a suplimentarybdiet lac of calcium causes osteoarthritis osteoporosis of bones. Have balanced diet of fat protein and carbohydrates. Have plenty of water by mouth.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Post thyroidectomy and preserving of parathyroid glands, there is a possibility of transient hypocalcimia for about 4 to 6 weeks or a bit longer. Usually by 3 to 4 months the parathyroid gland starts functioning fully. So now you will have to take additional supplement of calcium to reduce or overcome the deficiency. Thanks.
