If you have Scabies, clotrimazole cream will not help.Apply HHmite cream from neck to toes after taking soap bath and wash after 12 hrs. Single application only.Teczine 1 tablet daily at bedtime.

I'm 5 th month pregnancy doctor prescribed me clindamycin phosphate and clotrimazole cream and clotrimazole povidone iodine vaginal tablets how to use them? Can it used together at bedtime or can I use one at morning and another at bed night.

Insert vaginal tablet at bed time, so it should retain in vagina whole night. Cream can be applied any time.

I am suffering from itching problem at vaginal area. I am facing this problem from last 2 months. And sometimes it burns also during urine. I have taken cansoft vaginal and fas-3 kit also but after taking these medicines I felt relax only for a week and then again the same problem has started. And nowadays also suffering from constipation.

I developed vaginal infection after delivery I was put under medication (pessaries and antibiotics) for a month but it dint subside. It continued for a year (foil smell in vagina. Now again I started the course ciplox twice daily for 5 days and cansoft for 6 days. The smell completely vanished. Now it's come back again after a week. What could be the problem? And wat can be done?

Hello, Vaginal infection is most commonly is due to candida, bacterial vaginosis and trichomonas. Foul fishy smell is typically associated with bacterial vaginosis.
Apart from above chlamydia, gonorrhoea and other viral infection are quite common.
You need to maintain local hygiene. Use cotton undergarments avoid dettol or other types of douching vaginal discharge for bacterial and fungal study need to get both partners treated rule out diabetes.

Hello, Increased white discharge during pregnancy not associated with itching or foul smell is often not pathological. The discharge is due to increased mucin secretion by cervical glands in response to increased estrogen level.

Hello doctor! I have a doubt. Few days back I went to a gynaecologist for treating vaginal itching. She prescribed me clotrimazole ip cream but I am confused, I thought that she would give me clotrimazole vaginal cream but gave me clotrimazole ip cream and told to apply it inside the vagina as possible. Did the medical store person made a mistake by giving me clotrimazole ip cream instead of clotrimazole vaginal cream or clotrimazole ip cream can be applied inside the vagina? I have heard that clotrimazole ip cream is applied outside the vagina. Please reply me. If you want the photo of the prescription I can send you but jere I can not find that option .if the doctor who is reading this message give me whatsapp number I can send the photo of the prescription and the photo of the ointment I have been given by the medical store person. Doctor I got vaginal thrush in oct fir which I used 1prcnt clotrimazole and my symptoms gone un 3-4 days I used medicine for 1 week. I got infection back again in january and I used clotrimazole again but no effect till date its been 16 days I am using clotrimazole I also took 3 doses of fluconazole am getting itching only when I am cleaning vaginal area with soap rest time I do not have any symptoms.

My doctor told me to use clotrimazole ip cream for one month. Now I think my periods are going to come. Should I stop using the clotrimazole ip cream during period and continue using it after my periods? Hello, during menses anyhow you should stop all intravaginal applications as they will not work much. Just use alkaline vaginal wash regularly during menses to maintain menstrual hygiene.

Hello Lybrate user, most of the time a white patch on your skin could be just dryness related, sun damage or a fungal infection. Make sure to moisturise well, sun protection with a cap or helmet and if a fungal infection was suspected I would go in for a plain clotrimazole cream rather than the combination.
