Dear lybrate-user, petril is a benzodiazepine. It might be habit forming and hard to stop. It may be easy to stop for you at this young age. You can also learn other methods to manage your anxiety. Before it becomes habit forming, your psychiatrist is tapering it off. Please follow up with her/him.

Hello lybrate-user,
I hope that Paroxetine (Pari CR) and clonazepam (lonazep) were taken with medical advice and guidance. Please seek a consultation with your Psychiatrist to resolve your query. However it seems that weakness, anxiety, and crying spells are related to depression rathee than clonazepam withdrawal. However a more gradual tapering of clonazepam would be recommended. Zapiz is plain clonazepam, petrol beta is clonazepam plus inderal a beta blocker. Both relive anxiety symptoms but don't address the cause. You need medications of ssri or snri group, which improve the serotonin levels in your mind (brain) and relive anxiety on a longer run. So better consult a psychiatrist for proper treatment. Good luck.

Such patients benefit from antidepressants and more importantly psychotherapy that will help them decrease the effect of pain on t...more

The fact that you have been taking anti anxiety drugs for more than 10 years and still suffer from migraine, anxiety and depression, means your problems are more due to your personality factors than physical causes. You seem to have a very low self esteem and are low on self confidence. You will need to go through intensive psychotherapy. Consult a good psychologist/ psychotherapist, who can help you understand your fears, mental blocks and help you overcome your low self confidence. Medicine ca...more

The treatment you taking is adequate. You should tell your family about your problem. That will help you cope up with the situation in a better way. Also along with the meds I would Want you to start doing some regular exercise or meditation in any form. Bring home a colouring book and whenever you feel like an anxiety attack take that out and start colouring. Practice deep breathing and relaxation. Talk to someone venting out your feelings and emotions will help you deal with them in a better w...more
