Hello,
The antibiotic has no effect on the validity of test results. However please be clear that your Dr. (the one who recommended the tests) will correlate the results with the timing of tests done after the suspected exposure ie to take in to consideration incubation period or window period ,as applicable, to confirm if or not you need further test or not, esp for hiv.
And if you self refered yourself for the tests than pl do take pvt consultation with any hiv spl you wish to consult ...more

yes you can take cefixime 200 1-0-1 for 7 days, if it was bacterial, as your description it seems like a boil. So it will fixed with this. For fever you can take tab paracetamol sos. After 7 day if you still have a problem then you can follow up me again.

Having fever so frequently should be checked by a medical professional. Taking broad spectrum antibiotics without a proper diagnosis will neither be helpful for you body nor will treat the cause. Best to get a proper medical checkup done and rule out immune system related disorders/diseases.
