To discuss post covid health issues. Got covid positive on 20-apr-21. Ct scan was 12. Spent 7 days in hospital. Administered steroids of 40 mg twice a day for 10 days. Feeling very weak and have rashes on my body dear doctor kindly advise on my below queries 1. Why I am still having fever between 99 - 99.8 since last 5 days and for how long it will take to subside. 2. I have lost 7 kg weight & feeling very weak. How long this weakness continue 3. Post covid I have rashes on my body, how long it will take to subside. 4. I am taking blood thinner tab xarelto of 5 mg twice a day, in my latest blood test report, d dimer reading has come 149. Should I continue this tablet or stop. 5. Any further test required related to post covid.

I am looking for expert advice on the health of my younger brother (who lives in gurgaon, currently at home quarantine). He is 25 years old (blood group b ve) and got a headache with a low grade fever on the evening of 24th july and high fever on 25th july and till now every day in the morning and night he got high fever (102-104). He is on medication (please find attached the medication and spo2, temperature daily test in excel sheet) and a constant observation with our family doctor (mbbs, md). He didn't feel any kind of difficulty in breathing and pain in the leg muscles below the knee and/or other symptoms of cavity-19 like loss of taste and smell except headache in early days but feeling lethargic mostly. He is in-home quarantine and no one in the family has any symptoms. But most importantly, he has crp value 11.8 mg/l (on 29 july) and 106 mg/l (on 31 july) and d-dimer value around 1.38 mg/l (on 29 july) and 6.33 mg/l (on 31 july, 5.18 (on 1 august) in a test recently conducted (please also find attached the test reports and other liver and blood reports). His sgpt (199. 2iu/l) and sgot (90. 6iu/l) and ggt (326 iu/l) are high. According to his d dimer report, the doctor advised him to take clexane 60 mg for 5 days, he already had two injection on 1st and 2nd august (by a compounder from a nearby hospital). We got cavity negative test result and a positive typhi igm test on 3rd august. But he did not have any symptoms of loose motion. I have few queries: 1.Is this due to covid as test may be negative after 9-10 days or the specificity of test is not accurate. 2.And crp, esr, d dimer are raised. Is these parameter also raised in typhoid? 3.Is due to typhoid as typhoid test is positive but he did not have any loose motion symptoms he just get it one time after taking azee500 od with other medicines like cepodem bd or we need to confirm it with culture test. Is yes which culture test? 4.Do we need to continue clexane as d dimer is high? 5.Can we stop omnacortil suddenly or we need to taper it down?

Q1. Covid mein humne unhe pcm, doxy, azithro, ivermectin, vitc and zinc hh diya tha. Abhi bhi low grade fever continue hai. Now is there any need of blood thinners or any test is required because of high bp q2. How to control high bp q3. If any medicine is required, please suggest q4. Aur kya koi medicine leni hai before vaccination.

I don't think for money I only think my baby don't sad. Give best suggestion,

Subject: redness, pain, stingy, inflammation, urethral meatus, penis opening, urethra, balanitis, inflamed penis head, friction, sharp pain, peeing, ejaculation. Please note: so I have mentioned all the possible keywords in the subject that will bring everybody suffering from the same problem here. I am a non-smoker and non-drinker and uncircumcised. I take care of my health a lot. I regularly workout. This problem started 4 months back and i'm still suffering from it. So someone out there who cracked the solution, please help as you can see in the pictures, my meatus/urethral opening is red and inflamed. Symptoms: 1) the tip of penis stings when there is a call for urination. 2) it burns like hell after masturbation. But does not burn after a night fall. Which means friction could be causing this. 3) there is a mild burn throughout the day. 4) some drops of urine are left in the head of the penis after urination. 5) and redness and swelling in the size of the meatus is prominent and the tip/opening of the urethra is visibly bright red. History: I have been through the top most urologists in the country but still they couldn't solve this. It started from diagnosis like prostatitis, seminal vesiculitis and urethritis. But I believe they were all false. I have taken tonnes of antibiotics, so much that I have lost 10 kgs of body weight. They made me do urine culture and semen culture, but I believe all the reports were false as they showed a bacteria of enterococcus faecalis. I took linezolid antibiotics that treat this but it did not help. Tests I conducted: 1) urine and semen culture (latest - sterile) 2) psa - prostate antigen (normal) 3) hsv herpes 1 & 2 (negative) 4) usg of abdomen and pelvis (everything normal and no traces of stones.) medication I took till date: 1) I took strong doses via i.v. Of cefoperazone sulbactam 1.5gm twice7 days. 2) then I took flavoxate drug and cranpac-d'mannose which gave me more burn. 3) then amoxicillin/clavulanate 2x10 days 4) doxycycline for 14 days (2 tablets daily) 5) nitrofurantoin (for 15 days!) 6) fluconazole 200 mg for 10 days 7) azithromycin for 10 days. 8) linezolid 600 mg 2x15 days! :(9) cephalosporin for 2x7 days the doctors have abused my body with antibiotics :(10) steroidal creams like clobetasone miconazole. betamethasone dipropionate, aciclovir, clotrimazole and so on! during the course of all the antibiotics, I was informing the doctors that it's still burning after medication too (which means the prescriptions were wrong) but still they forced me to finish the course. I am not at all sexually active. So there's no question of stds. I have taken all the possible antibiotics, so no question of stis. I got penile discharge on day 1, but never after that. No blood discharge. Infact my main problem was whenever I masturbated, I did not use lubrication, I did it on dry penis for so many years. It always burned after ejaculation, when there was no lube. Finally after meeting so many urologists who abused my body with antibiotics, I met a skin doctor and he gave me fluconazole and steroidal creams, but that did not help either. He said it's balanitis and urologists failed to identify it. But then now there is redness and swelling on the tip/opening and not much on the head. Also no burning after a night fall, which means there's no bacteria in semen. But extreme burning after friction/masturbation. And mild burning 24 hours. Urine is also sterile and not smelling funny. Water intake is 3-4 litres a day. Guys, its a humble request, if anyone had faced a similar issue and cleared it out, then please help me my brothers it's been 4 months of mental & physical torture. I have spent a lot of money and i'm the only person at home to earn. Please help me. I'm not in a good state. :(

I am 20 years old female. I have d-dimer concentration of 1.15 mcg/ml and a normal coagulation profile (normal fibrinogen conc, pt, pi, inr, tt,aptt, blood clotting time). What problem am I likely to have? Ps. I have been taking oral contraceptive yarina (drospirenone and ethinylestradiol) for the past 3 months and haven't taken them before. Also took duphaston (progesterone) for 3 months before that for irregular menstrual cycle.

Your temperature is slightly on the higher side specially when you are already using steroid. I need to see your reports specifically d dimer and crp which will help me guide you better given that you might be in the obese category which increases the risk.
