Dear sir /mam my name kotresh bevoor ballari district karnataka my problem is am covid-19 positive asymptotic patient just now I recovered from that I got medicines as directed by doctors now stopped medicines from doctor's suggestion also but my problem is am not getting sleep still 3 days and I was checked d dimer level is 0.277. All is effective my saturation level shows 97% and treating sugar now it was in control please help me why am not getting sleep.

Evening rise of temperature needs further evaluation. WBC count? Do you have any cough or any weight loss? If your RT PCR is negative and you just have fever, there is nothing like MILD CORONA. You will need further evaluation.

I did a lot of test. Like echo cardiogram/ chest xray / ct scan on brain and sinus/ CBC blood test/ sugar test/ liver function test/ kidney function test/ thyroid function test/crp test/ cardiac profile/ dimer test./ ECG test. All my test can back normal. But I still feel sick something my head feel heavy. My body feel tired and lazy. Sometime I feel sleep in the day . My doctor told me maybe anxiety is the cause. Because my doc tor said all my test is good. Seeing all my test is good I do not need to worry if I am sick with a disease or something right.

I am covid positive for two weeks but now no fever since 3 days only cough, chest & throat congestion is present my crp was 15 and di dimer level was 317 ten days back already taken course of azithromycin for 5 days then doxy 100, and ivermectin for about 10 days and also ascoril cough syrup for 5 days currently taking only multi vitamins, vit c, zinc and honey tus syrup. Should I need to take ecosprin 75? Or any other medicine for constant coughing & weakness? Pls advice?

Ecospirin is given to prevent clotting of blood. It doesn't have any affect on your cough and weakness. Weakness well remain upto 2-4 weeks in a covid patient. Hydrate yourself well and continue protein calorie rich diet. For cough, use a. Codeine based syrup.
If feeling short of breath, continous fever. Please contact nearby hospital.

Hi, my wife got fever, so when consulted to doctor and had urine test, found she had urine infection so doctor suggested some medicines (UTIKIT - probiotic and probiotic capsules and Cefakind 250). Doctor also advised to get urine test done for me to see if there is any infection, so I had too done the urine test but my doctor is unavailable and out of station for 2 weeks. So I am posting the report details here, so please check and suggest me if I too had any infection and if so please suggest what to do. Going by the reports, you need to treat both simultaneously and avoid coitus till future samples from both of you show no growth on culture. Treatment from your physician with a drug from the most sensitive to antibiotic group for sufficient duration is mandatory.

Respected sir, myself (moloy goswami) and my wife (abriti goswami) are on course to recovery and the suspected covid symptoms have subsided around 2 weeks back and there is no fever or cough while weakness is there. Now, it is requested to kindly prescribe some relevant pathological tests/ markers for me and my wife as post covid follow up. Some of them could be- 1. Cbc 2. Crp 3. D dimer 4. Igg antibody test 5. Il 6 6. Lft 7. Kft 8. Any other marker it may be mentioned here that we had not undergone any test and had taken paracetamol, azax & cough syrup supplemented with steam inhalation gargle with saline water for 5 days. Hello Mr. lybrate-user blood sugar test is also required, and since you did not had any serious covid infection, you need not require il-6 and d-dimer.

Hi doctor, my mother is 61 years old and is a multiple myeloma patient she is on chemotherapy. Her 3rd chemotherapy cycle is completed. After 3rd chemo cycle she was having fever for more than 9 days then we did covid test based on advice of our onco-hematologist doctor, unfortunately her covid test came positive. We have postponed the next chemo cycle now. She is taking in medication like favipiravir, etc from a physician on her first day her c- reactive protien was 110, d dimer- 400. On second day crp- 79 and d dimer- 1012. Therefore based on physician advice we injected 2 enoxaparin sodium 60 mg injection in 12 hrs gap, after d dimer drop to 390. After that doctor prescribed 6 more injection. Does this treatment won't affect her cancer treatment? Is there anything to worry about? What are the possible suggestions?
